I thought this was well worth the entry fee (about $12). The tour starts in the garden which is mostly made from valuable grey bricks that are no longer in production. Alex (our guide) was fantastic - very polished and able to answer all questions. The tour moves through the lower floor of the house showing off the beautiful and unique pieces of art and furnishings that Jim Williams collected. Most of the rooms are in the same condition as when he lived there. Check out the shutters on the windows - such a great design!
The room where the murder took place is included in the tour. It is quickly mentioned as it is not really the focus of the tour. There were other movies filmed there besides "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil". "Glory" and "Swamp Thing" were also shot on location.
