“Rivals any in Europe”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

A beautiful church that is open to all visitors free of charge. Just remember to take off your hat and silence the cell phone. The interior is lovely with lots of stained glass and artwork. This doesn't have as much gold leaf as others Cathedrals but the overall effect is light and airy.

“What a majestic place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

This was an absolutely beautiful church! They still had the Nativity scene up which was most impressive, bigger than any I've ever seen, complete with a water fountain. While visiting, I saw a baptism in progress, people waiting for confession, the altar area being readied for evening services, along with several people there to tour the church. It had a very welcoming, peaceful air about it. Definitely worth the visit.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 10, 2013

Have never been in such a beautiful cathedral. They were taking down the Christmas decorations when we were there, but it was still a beautiful place. For any questions, the volunteers are very knowledgeable about the history of the building.

“Loved the serenity”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

It's a beautiful church with a lot of history. Pick up a flyer if they have one in the back of the church. There's a lot of history in this place.

“Beautiful church”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 9, 2013

Open all week (closes 5 pm), this cathedral is both impressive in scope and beautiful in construction. Dominated by stain glass windows, and faux mable columns (looking at them you wouldn't guess they were faux) with other beautiful art (including the baptismal font) this is a lovely place to visit whether or not you are Catholic. Note: hat's off inside!
