“Free and beautiful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

If you want to see a one-of-a-kind place, see the Cathedral. You might be interested to know that Catholics were once "not welcome" in Savannah. This place just may have changed people's minds. It is free and so beautiful. Come and light a candle or just say a small prayer. It's worth the walk. Just look for the two tall spires. You cannot miss it.

Wonderful stained glass and stations of the cross. Quite a site to visit as the Cathedral is a place one would typically find in a larger city.

The stained glass windows and architecture. Having seen many beautiful churches in Europe, I did not expect anything comparable in Savannah

Services were on-going so I could only look through the glass in the doors to see this marvelous place of worship

Even though the columns look like marble, they are faux painted. The church is gorgeous with its stained glass, paintings, organ, etc.
This place of worship is a work of art.
