“Huge brunch selection”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We popped in here hoping to get a nice breakfast and ended up leaving having had a wonderful brunch. There were copious amounts of food of all types, and it all tasted great. There was a cooking school intern preparing omelets, and she was using a large sauté pan rather than a normal size omelet pan, so the omelets were as big as a dinner plate. Everything was very good, especially the cheese blintzes and the banana pancakes. The servers were very nice and friendly and kept the coffee coming. I would love to try this place for dinner.

“Going Downhill & Understaffed?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

Popped in this weekend for dinner after a bike ride on the local trails. It was a Saturday and the tavern was crowded. Granted, this was Octoberfest weekend, but it wasn't like there was a wait and there were some empty tables - it wasn't even 5pm yet. It took forever to get a menu, forever to get waited on, drinks, etc. Food came kind of timely, but the service was tremendously lacking because the waitress seemed overextended & hurried. My entrée came without everything it was supposed to have, and that again took more time for the waitress to bring. We hesitated to even ask for anything else knowing it was going to take an additional 10 minutes. No one checked if our meals were okay, my husband wasn't asked if he wanted an additional beverage refill, dessert was slammed in front of us and the presentation of it, well let's say, WHAT presentation?? Brought out on a cheap glass plate, not even a dollop of whipped cream or sweet sauce, served like anyone would serve it in their kitchen at home. Our entrees were fairly tasty--my steak was cooked medium well at best, not medium, and there definitely wasn't anything worth the inconvenience of the noise or wait or slow service. It'll being a long time before we return.

“Service was horrendous, food was barely warm and overcooked”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2013

We found this restaurant 1 year ago on a fall drive. Last year we had one of the best burgers ever. In fact we compared every burger to that one since then. We drove 1.5 hours again just to get the burgers. What a disappointment! Our server started off by telling us the service would be slow, in fact she said that about 3 of the 10 times she walked by our table before taking our drink order. Then she walked by 3 more times to help other tables before she brought our drinks. She was super inefficient. The restaurant shrunk the burger menu to 3 burgers!! I was excited when I saw they still had the MOS burger. However this time....it was overcooked (I ordered it medium, it came well) and missing the horseradish sauce. By the time our server came back around so I could tell her that, and then brought us the sauce, my burger was barely warm. The fries were warm and soggy. The wings were dried out and chewy. It was a terrible experience.

“If I could give them a zero, I would.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed October 12, 2013 via mobile

Everything was terrible and poorly run, from simply trying to get a seat to the sad pathetic excuse for food. Twenty five minutes to just get drinks at our table. Another thirty before food was brought. Our appetizer was brought with our dinner with no apologies and the food was absolutely horrible. Kids wouldnt eat the hard pasta they served. Stay away and don't waste your money!!

“Great atmosphere.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Nice rooms and good food. Met Jeremy the chef for samples after closing on the bar side. Great guy. Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room and dinner, plus biking at Ohiopyle is what we needed.
