“Loved my stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2014

This hotel is close to the Inner Harbor. I stayed in a suite for a great value. The complimentary breakfast has quality offerings. The hotel has rooms where smoking is permitted. There is a complimentary washer and dryer available for use. In the lobby, there is also tea and coffee available anytime along with ample space to work or read. They also recycle. Oh and the room was amazing. It had a full kitchen. Loved it.

We had a *lovely* overnight this weekend. We loved our little suite--the set up was so nice with the separate "living room" area--and were especially impressed with the friendly, helpful attitude of the front desk staff. Would definitely stay here again!

What a blessing to have someplace to decompress while family is in the hospital. Staff was very friendly and helpful and the shuttle service was quick and easy. Convenient walking distance to many restaurants on Charles Street.

nice hotel (not easy to find w/ all the one way streets). arrived Friday for a wedding and had no hot water in our room. staff moved us to another room that also did not have any hot water. we declined their offer to send the valet up to help with the water problem (valet, lol). staff then realized that entire building did not have hot water. they comp'ed our room and parking. free stay, but no shower. staff did what they could and we appreciate that. the fact that the hotel didn't have any hot water is an issue. for 175 a night that water better be flowing hot non stop.

The people were kind, friendly and efficient. The facility was wonderful and had some charm unlike newer buildings. The location is wonderful with a number of very good restaurants less than a block away.

My wife and I spent one night at Home 2 Suites for a wedding. It was very challenging to find, and add to the fact that the street to get us there was closed for some Christmas Tree sale. But your GPS may have you turn on Lovegrove which is actually a small alley. If you blink, you'll miss it. After almost 30 minutes going around in circles, my wife finally saw the sign which sits high above the crowded skyscrapers. You really have to look for it. The staff was apologetic for the street closures and explained to me that Lovegrove was an alley way. From what I was told, this hotel is 3 years old. I am sure the building was much older, but what a transformation!! This hotel screams modern flair!! When you walk into the room, I was expecting something old or dingy. Nope. New furniture, HD TV, and the bathroom!! WOW!! A walk in shower where you don't get a bar of soap and a little shampoo bottle. They are in dispensers!! Neutrogena products too. The toilet was a little annoying but I managed. Hotel is in a different part of downtown Baltimore that we have never been to. But thankfully it was 2 blocks from where the wedding was!! Easy walk. Highly recommend it. But don't feel bad if you get lost. Hopefully they'll put a sign up so you can find it easier. There is also a free continental breakfast that had a waffle iron and some sandwiches you could heat up in the microwave. Even the set up in there was eclectic. This was a very hip and trendy hotel. I'd come back...now that I know where it is!!!

5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2013

Stayed here for three nights in November 2013 while in Baltimore for a conference. It's about a 20-minute walk from the Inner Harbor, so the location is convenient, although there isn't a lot open late at night in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.

Was just what I needed--immaculately clean, friendly staff, nice amenities, and the most comfortable hotel bed I believe I've ever slept on.

I only had two minor critiques: 1) The breakfast needed more options, and on Saturday AM, they were out of almost everything by 8:30 (including plates, bowls, silverware, etc.). It seemed like they only had one staff person maintaining everything, and she was overwhelmed.

2) The treadmills in the gym all had problems, either with the attached TV not working properly, or the treadmill itself not running.
