Very comfortable, rooms are large with seperate bedroom, living/dinning room and small kitchen. It is not a kitchenette, no stove and minimal plates, utensils, etc. don't plan on anything other than heating something up in the micro. Furnished nicely. Central air, so no noisy window unit cranking away. Bad internet connection, beyond slow, slower than dial-up. TV audio is also very bad, two TVs. The area is really ugly, unless you are used to eastern cities. There is nothing around within 4 blocks any direction that has anything like a small corner market, liquour store, restaurant that is open after 6:00 PM. For any decent dinning other than Tugs you have to go down 5 blocks toward the harbour or east to a night club area.

We stayed at the Tremont Plaza over Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderfum time. The staff was very attentive and quick to make recommendations for food and/or sights. The suites were more than ample in size. The walk to the Harbor isn't long, but the staff is quick to get a taxi for you if you prefer.

Our only complaint was the hotel's transportation service. There wasn't any way to reserve in advance and they were constantly running late.

Other than that minor problem we had a wonderful time. We'd recommend it to anyone and will be returning ourselves in the near future.

I was optimistic about this hotel after seeing reviews here and getting a great rate. Well, it was not what I hoped for, in terms of a hotel experience. No hot water for my shower, no hair dryer, lousy front desk service, uncooperative "high speed Internet" (I ended up using my low speed modem), and terrible TV reception. I was relieved to be stuck there for only one night and will never stay there again.

Be warned!

The room was very nice and had a little kitchen area off to the side with a microwave and fridge. We had a problem with the shower. As we turned the knob, there was a banging sound in the pipes. We eventually got the right temp setting. It 's a 5 minute walk to the Inner Harbor where you can jump on the water taxi to Fell's point for $8.00. (For the day)
