“One night stay - great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2013

Stayed for one night. Can't beat the location - right across the street from the inner harbor.
Starbucks was a blessing for a morning coffee/tea and a quick breakfast. Room was good.
We did not face the harbor but the interior courtyard. As long as we weren't looking at a parking lot
we were fine for a one night stay. Hotel also connects to the mail which is convenient if it's raining.

We had a great long weekend exploring the inner harbor and the convenience and location of this hotel really helped make that happen! Across the street from inner harbor water taxi, walking distance to kids museum, aquarium and some great restaurants. Parking was pricey, as expected, but attached and convenient. Rooms were clean and comfy but nothing extraordinary. Would definitely stay again!

I am one who loves to travel and love staying at nice hotels. This hotel is pretty average when it comes to the rooms, but the staff was pleasant. I also HATED the fact that although I had the do not disturb tag on our door, the maid service still opened my door and asked if I needed anything. They didn't just knock and wait for my response, they tapped on the door and immediately opened the door. The DO NOT DISTURB should apply to all...including the maids. This really upset me. Another thing...DON'T THINK that your Internet is free because you have a room there. Although the wi-fi is called Guest and you put your last name and room number in it that you get it included LIKE MOST HOTELS in this country of ours. You are nailed with a $12.95 fee for every 24 hours. Of course you are not made aware of this or asked if you are sure you are okay with it until you receive your bill. SURPRISE! You now owe us another $40.00! So in other words, your $200.00 a night will get you no internet and maids that love to walk into your room even though you have the DO NOT DISTURB sign up. If you are okay with that, this is the place for you. This place is getting an average rating simply for the location.

Stayed here for a week-long conference and was very impressed with the service and quality. Would stay here again. The ONLY downside was parking was $30/night - that can add up quickly. Rooms were clean, bellmans were very helpful and courteous, and you couldn't ask for a better location - literally across the street from the harbor, restaurants, and the expressway.

Room Tip: Ask for a room close to the elevator. There's only 1 elevator wing so if your room is opposite...

Thank you so much for your Trip Advisor review. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay during your conference. It's great after a long day to be able to walk right across the street and have so many restaurants and shops available. We hope to see you again soon!

The location of this hotel is outstanding, the staff was very friendly, and the quality of the room was excellent. This hotel probably has the best location on the harbor- right in the middle of it all. The staff was VERY helpful and friendly. The room was updated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. There is parking right underneath the hotel (for an extra fee), and the hotel is connected to a shopping mall that you can access right through the hotel lobby. There is also a Starbucks and snack shop in the lobby. We would definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Higher floors are less noisy since the hotel is located on a busy street. A harbor view room has a...

Attended a conference and stayed at the hotel late June. Stayed on 11th floor and room looked out onto the center courtyard. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. I did find a hair in the shower, but not a big deal. The conference rooms needed a good clean out. Many of the chairs were stained, the carpets were dirty and in one conference room I was bitten multiple times by something. I did eat breakfast in the one restaurant. I had the buffet ($20 something) and it was good - you could order omelets made to order and they had turkey bacon one day. The hotel is connected to a small mini mall with a food court (nothing was open for breakfast, but fine for lunch/dinner) The location to all of the museums is this hotels best selling point. Everything is within walking distance. Area restaurants are you typical overpriced touristy chains, but there are plenty of them within walking distance from this hotel.

The hotel was clean nice atmosphere in a great location in downtown Baltimore. From the pictures online, it looks like the hotel is on the waterfront. It is across the street from the harbor area of Baltimore. Please be reminded this hotel is in downtown and the street (Pratt St) is very busy, there are street lights and a crossing guard at times to assist with traffic flow. The hotel was nice with easy indoor access to the attached shopping mall. My room was a single king bed on the ninth floor but I could hear all the street noise of downtown traffic and sirens. The windows are not insulated that good, I was on a high floor but I felt like I was on the ground floor. The room had plenty of space with two flat screen televisions. The only negative would be my room faced a parking garage not the harbor view I requested. The bed was lumpy and not comfortable. In my opinion it is time to for this chain to change out its mattresses. The furniture and bedding need an overall update.

Room Tip: If possible book a room on a high floor facing Pratt St (harbor view). In some parts of the hotel so...
