I'm really puzzled by the outstanding reviews listed here, especially the ones touting the quality of the rooms. The suite we stayed in last week featured an ancient bedspread and torn curtains. All the hotels I've stayed in recently (including even the 3 stars) have upgraded their bedding to include comforters, lofty mattress pads and multiple pillows. Not this hotel - just two well-worn pillows and the standard mattress.

We booked through the Hilton website and it was obvious that we were higher level members. Usually, that equates to a room upgrade. I sincerely hope this wasn't the upgraded room!

The valet parking ($20) was abysmal on our arrival day. Our new BMW was left outside, unlocked, for several hours. The fitness facility was substandard (tiny with broken machines).

The foyer, lobby and meeting rooms are lovely - but they've all been redone recently. The rest of the hotel desperately needs a similar facelift.

The free wifi was very slow. There are no network ports in the rooms, so it's the super slow wifi or nothing.

I had a reservation at this hotel, but when I arrived late at night (~3am), they told me that they are oversold and they have to send me to another hotel. There was no point in discussing with them, so I drove toward the new hotel. As it turned out, the new "hotel" was actually the JHU's conference center, which was 30 minutes away, and was also a cheaper hotel (even though there were other decent hotels nearby). I'm outraged by this treatment, and will never stay there again.

Nice lobby ,efficient check-in, well-situated near JHU.
Wi-fi in room worked poorly. Otherwise everything was clean and in order.

The Inn at the Colonnade is now a Hilton property and I found it to be a very nice place. The lobby is beautiful and the personnel at the check-in desk were friendly, efficient and helpful. I was even given a warm Doubletree chocolate chip cookie upon my arrival . My room was attractively furnished. comfortable and clean. I highly recommend this inn for those who want a nice hotel conveniently located in the area near Johns Hopkins University.
