“Attended conference held in Convention Center”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2010

Days Inn is the most convenient and most affordable place to stay if attending conferences in Baltimore, Maryland. They have a business center but expect it to be occupied by other guests when you are there for a big conference. It is very convenient and is just 2-3 mins walk to Convention Center. The lobby is very attractive but the rooms are a bit run down. The rooms are not that clean. Bed is not very comfortable, a little bit hard for me. They charge $1 daily for the safe in the room even if you do not use it. It is just 15 mins walk to Cultural District, Mt Vernon Place.

I attended a conference here and the hotel is right next door to the conference center. Close to shopping, lots of restaurants and sights to see. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

arrived at hotel around 7 pm - greeted by Gerald - have not received such excellent service traveling in a long time - anything we needed or wanted to taken care of immediately with a pleasant smile. all staff were great, but gerald deserves recognition - he was outstanding. He advised anything I needed, just ask and he meant it. And staff were quite busy with checkins as there was a marathon the next day. Keep Gerald - he is an asset to the hotel.

WOW! We were very impressed with this hotel and highly recommend anyone visiting Baltimore to stay at the Days Inn Inner Harbor. Our room was very clean with all the amenities we needed. The beds were very comfortable, I slept like a baby! The location was very conveinent as well.. everything we wanted to do was just around the corner or a cheap taxi ride away. We had a delicious breakfast in their restaurant and the staff in the hotel was very friendly and helpful. I truely feel we paid the best price for the best value. We will definately be returning next year!

This was the worst ever and we do a lot of traveling. We were told at time of booking
it comes with a complimentary breakfast and bottled water in the room. When we
arrived we were told that is no longer the case. Honestly...worse than that was the old, dirty beds. My back is still sore from the mattress and the quilts should be thrown out NOW!!
They were so dirty. Housekeeping never bought up the tissues and toilet paper that we needed and they said only "some rooms" get the bottled water. Never again will we stay
in a Days Inn. I am too disappointed in the false advertising and the dirtiness of the place.
It would have been worth it to pay more for a better stay somewhere else. Oh and the parking is 20.00 a day whether you stay there or not. It is no bargain like they advertise.

While this hotel is a little dated, the place was very clean and the room was very well kept and nice space. It had a refrigerator and microwave. Also, the sink was outside the bathroom so one person can shower or use the toilet while the other people can get ready at the sink and mirror.
The location was excellent. It was within a few blocks of all the attractions including inner harbor, the convention center, and camden yards. The Baltimore Arena is right acorss the street which makes this hotel excellent if you are going to a show or even there.
The staff was very helpful and friendly, probably the best staff I ever experienced in any hotel. The front desk staff was helpful explaining the hotel and where to go to park, eat, etc. Passing a maintenance person in the hall, he greeted us with a smile while passing and asked how our rooms was and if there was anything he can do to make our stay better. The restaurant worker was very friendly and the order was very quick.
To the person with the review about the pool and parking: The pool is outdoors so I assume it is closed between Labor Day and Memorial day. The reviewer made it sound like it was indoors and closed for no reason. Also, the parking charge was clearly indicated on the web site and actually the parking was $5 cheaper than what was advertised. Also with the parking you can pay at the hotel and come in and out as much as you want to during your stay.

On a recent trip to Baltimore we ran into reservation scheduling issues which would have ruined the week as well as created some real headaches finding a place to stay. But Will (William Heiteer) and another staffer came to the rescue making our stay the best. He followed up to make sure our needs were met and the stay turned from hectic to blessed. The entire staff was great, the location fantastic and we highly recommend this Days Inn for all travelors. They truly are committed to service.
