“Excellent getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 5, 2013

From the first night my wife and I arrived we knew this would be a great getaway. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My wife loved the fact that she could get coffee in front of our door every morning and the breakfast choices were delicious. The room we stayed in was quaint and perfect for us. The fireplace and jacuzzi tub really added to the weekend. The Inn is within walking distance of Fells Point, Inner Harbor, and Little Italy so no need to use your car at all unless you want to go a little further. The only issue with the whole weekend was that you either have to find parking on the street or use the parking garage a few streets down. Overall, I would recommend this for anyone planning on going to Baltimore.

Room Tip: Try to get a room off the main road because you will hear the big trucks during the night.

“Wonderful Stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We really enjoyed our stay at the Carrolton Inn and recommend it to anyone. The Inn is convenient to most major attractions in Baltimore and the Metro station is also just around the corner. La Tavola restaurant was 2 blocks south and was incredibly good. We stayed in suite 201 and did not notice the noise mentioned in other reviews. I don't know if we were just lucky or if some rooms are quieter than others. The room is quite stunning and the staff made us feel like special guests while staying there. We hope to return, perhaps when the weather is a little more agreeable.

“Wonderful stay right in Baltimore!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I have live in Baltimore my whole life. This was a weekend getaway for my hisband and I. We stayed in the Scholar's Room. It was absolutely fantastic! We found ample free street parking. We checked in easily. We took a nice soaking bath, relaxed in the kings size bed, and enjoyed the room. What a wonderful, friendly staff! We stayed in a courtyard room, which I might recommend over the others because I still could hear the traffic. It was overall a terrific time and I cannot wait to return.

Room Tip: Courtyard room to cut down on noise.

What a delightful experience, don't hesitate for a nano second - make your reservation!!
The Innkeeper and assistants are professional, warm, helpful and, genuine.
The breakfast was delicious and filling.
Walking distance to Fell's Point and Inner Harbor, not to mention fine dining.

Room Tip: 303 is very quaint with a nice view but, you won't go wrong with any choice!

“Best Bed and Breakfast around”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

We have been to many bed and breakfasts but the 1840 Carrollton Inn takes the cake. The rooms are beautiful, service was great and the breakfast was delicious. They have an eye for every detail, from the popcorn in the microwave to the lttle black makeup towel in the bathroom, to the luxurious furniture in each bedroom. We are definitely going back to this bed and breakfast.

Room Tip: every room is beautiful
