I was in Baltimore for business for 4 nights and came across the Scarborough Fair B&B. I am so glad I did. Located in the Federal Hill area, it is an easy walk to Camden Yards and the Convention Center. The area has excellent shops and great restaurants. The breakfasts were great and they had nice touches like cookies, tea, coco, and soft drinks available anytime. They even had fresh fruit available throughout the day. The B&B is an old row house and has all the quirky elements of an old building. Some of the bathrooms are across the hall, but none are shared. The owners are fairly new and I am sure will update as they need, but the inn is clean, the linens are comfortable, and the total experience is great.

If you are tired of the traditional 'hotel experience', stay here. I am sure Scarborough Fair is awesome for those couples too, but it is great for the business traveler as well.

Warm smiles, friendly service, home-baked cookies and comfortable quiet rooms await you at this charming B&B. Tucked away in historic Federal hill, the B&B is walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this place over any downtown hotel.

We were delighted with this B&B. Its location was perfect for us, as it gave us time to explore a historic neighborhood and enjoy the waterfront, too. And yes, Camden Yards is walkable. The breakfasts were unbelievably wonderful, and host Brian gave us great dinner recommendations the evening we arrived, tired and hungry but not wanting to get dressed up. Our only complaint was the noise level in our room, which was street-level corner -- even with storm windows, the traffic noise was bothersome. On the other hand, those breakfasts ...

This B&B is very close to the boardwalk around the inner harbor of Baltimore and in a great neighborhood for the history, food, and shopping. Although we did not attend an Orioles game, it appeared to be within walking distance of the stadium. Our room, The Hickory Vale room, was very antique looking. The four poster bed was very in character with the building. This room also had a gas fireplace (which we used as it was cool and rainy) and a jacuzzi tub. We stayed two nights and the breakfasts were unique and filling. The management was very helpful in selecting neighborhood restaurants and other sights to see. The cost is a little high but the location is great! The only drawback to this room was we could here the people above us walking around and we could also here the management getting ready for breakfast (plates moving, etc.)
