My family and I were coming to Baltimore for the Orioles game and to visit the Inner Harbor. When we arrived at the hotel-we were told of a slight problem with our Hotel Room and they had to switch our room. Tahlia Williams-the Guest Service Rep-could not have been more professional, courteous, pleasant or helpful. She accommodated us with no interruptions or issues and assisted us in anyway that we needed during our stay. Whatever we needed-she was there for us. Whether it was getting a Taxi-Aquarium Tickets-Our vehicle from Valet-advice for Dinner-nothing was a bother to her. If we ever return to Baltimore, we would definitely return to this Hotel because of Tahlia, Antonio-the manager and the utmost customer service that we were provided. The visit and the hotel stay was a great experience for our family.

Room Tip: The hotel was great. Perfect location whether you are going to Camden Yards or Inner Harbor.

What a great experience, the entire stay was undescribable. The hotel staff was superb; always on Point. And the Front Desk attendent, Brianna; in addition to Victoria and Gary...were EXCELLENT, What Professionalism and such inviting personalities. Well done ladies and gentleman....definitely candidates for Management! Thumbs Up...now for the hotel...clean, charming, historic, and fun...definitely check out the vault in the lower level. The building is a converted bank...from the early financial era...location 3-4 blocks from the harbor and great restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable...we wanted to stay another night :-).

And the breakfast was great...wonderful options...however, given all of the above; it was the staff that made for such a extra-ordinary stay! Look forward to returning...real soon...Keep up the GREAT Work!

Very clean older hotel with a lovely lobby where complimentary breakfast is served. The breakfast is very good and offers everything you might wish for with plenty of seating area. Room was great and linens very soft white and inviting. Lastly the staff was very helpful and even allowed an early check in which was really very nice and allowed us to continue with our day without a worry. Thanks for a very nice stay Well worth the money.

Room Tip: Second floor was quiet easy to get to and very quiet

This Marriott did a great job when I was in town recently. Very well run, and always attentive. I had forgotten my razor on this business trip and barely had to mention it before the concierge was at my side with a new disposable razor and shaving cream. Location cannot be beat, just a few blocks from the inner harbor, restaurants, bars, etc. Cab service was available immediately outside and the outdoor attendants were very helpful in arranging transportation. Hotel staff upgraded my room to fantastic suite on the corner near the hotel sign with a pretty good view of downtown. Very professionally run hotel with great location downtown.

As soon as I walked through the door, the staff was extremely polite and inviting. When I checked in, the young lady Victoria, was very attentive and courteous. She helped me with whatever I needed and was extemely kind. I stayed for three nights and all the staff spoke every single time I walked through the hotel. Excellent service, great room, and clean conditions.

Room Tip: Definitely recommend this hotel for the friendly people, location, and cleanliness.

I was not at all impressed by this hotel. It is poor in comparison to other SpringHill Suites that I have stayed in. Usually they are great, but not this one. It is in a very old and decrepit building. The rooms are dark and the furniture is old. The elevators were making a very loud squeaking noise that you can hear even if your room is away from the elevator. The staff vary widely in experience and the ones I dealt with had no idea what they were doing. There was a sticky spot on one of the furniture pieces in the room. This is an immediate red flag for me on the quality of the housekeeping and cleanliness. There was also some spills and dirty spots on the floors in the hallways. The air conditioning fan could not be shutoff. You can only manipulate the temperature. The rooms do not have a safe !

The area is not a great neighborhood but this will be true for any of the hotels in the inner harbor part of town near the convention center and the aquarium. On top of that, there was a water pipe in the street in front of the hotel that seemed to be broken as there was a constant stream of water flowing by the curb. The workers outside were using a jack hammer until 9:30 PM but that's not the hotel's fault. I will say that the breakfast was pretty good though.

Dear Hesham2013, Thank you so much for your review of our hotel. We look at all comments and take a forward action so that we can increase our guest service for future guests as well to invite you back for another visit. I noticed your comments about the age of the building and wanted to make you aware that our hotel is inside a historic building which use to house a bank. We were very fortunate to maintain the bank vault located on our lower level for public view. This building also withstood the Great Fire of Baltimore in 1904. We are pleased to let you know that we will be going through a renovation on the inside while we maintain the great historic factor of the building itself. I thank you for your comments regarding the pipe with water leaking to the local utilities company so they may address the issue. Thank you for staying with us and please contact me so that I may set you up for your return visit.

All the best,

Bryan Schwed

The hotel in general was fine but the staff were very rude and took forever to check us into the room. The room is spacious but the bathroom was old and needed some maintenance. Don't bother calling the reception to request a taxi because they will not bother calling one until you show up at the reception. Breakfast was fine but lacked variety.
