I booked this hotel because it was cheap and had good reviews on TripAdvisor. As I walk in, the lobby is beautiful. The man who checks me in has the worst attitude in the world.. So far, OK. I get to my room and it seems nice. A mini-fridge, enough towels etc. But when I took off my shoes and started walking on the carpet my socks turned black. There were sunflower seeds on the floor (Explain that one) amongst other wrappers and dirt. It looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in months. The shower was disgusting and I actually had to take out the metal water stopper because it was broke. The top of the TV was sticky and had several rings on it that looked like they were caused by beer bottles.

If someone had put some effort into cleaning this room, it wouldn't have been so bad.

For the price, it was a good deal. But I expect a clean room. Everyone should expect a clean room. I would've forked up an extra $40 and stayed at a better hotel if I could've.
