“Awesome location, service, and staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2012

We stayed here last weekend for the Ravens game and couldn't have picked a better location! It was awesome! It's right next to Camden Yard and Pickle's Pub. We were able to valet our car and walk or taxi anywhere we needed easily! The hotel is within walking distance to Federal Hill and a very short taxi ride to Fells Point. Both areas boast great nightlife and are a lot of fun! The staff at the hotel is really fun and fantastic and the rooms are very clean and comfortable!

Room Tip: They are all really good. The elevators are fast so you don't need to worry about getting a roo...

Spent two nights here for business meetings and found the place great. Directly across the street from Camden Yards and easy walking distance to everything. My room was very clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the morning breakfast is nice, not great but nice. The business meetings themselves went very well as the staff made sure every whim was handled quickly.

Though we are local, we booked a room at the hotel for the Baltimore Running Festival. The location couldn't have been more convenient, the price was right, and the room was absolutely amazing. We stayed in a King with sofa bed and it was spacious and well appointed. the staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was delicious. We already booked our rooms for next year's race! If I had to choose a negative, I would say the noise from other rooms and doors closing was present but it wasn't awful.

We came to Baltimore from TN for our son's 12th birthday. We wanted to take him to a Ravens game. Hampton was phenomenally well located and the staff are amazing, especially the front desk folks. We would go back. Loved Baltimore.

Let me first say that this is a great hotel. It is conviently located next the baseball stadium and the staff is first rate. The rooms are very clean and well appointed. The hotel has a pool located in the basement and breakfast is included. But be forewarned checking in on the day of a baseball game might be difficult. Adjacent to the hotel are bars where fans hang out prior to the games. They can get loud. Gates are put up to keep people away from the streets and hotel. There is plenty of security around but driving to the hotel during this time might be difficult. People park everywhere during this time and walk on the roads. So I would only recommend staying at this hotel when there are no baseball games or if you plan to attend a baseball game when in Baltimore.

We traveled to Baltimore for the Brooks Robinson statue dedication on September 29th 2012 and stayed the night at the Hampton Inn for another game on Sunday. I have traveled to many places and this is the cleanest hotel I have ever been to. The hotel was completely booked and we arrived right at check in. The valet guys were fantastic! Yes, paying to park is $29.00 which is a little steep, but these boys hustle and I was very impressed with them, leading me to tip 3 different times. Although the hotel was booked and check in time can be hectic, I only waited a few minutes. June, from the front desk seemed a little stressed at first but she loosened up a bit and was quite pleasant. She also called our room to see if we were happy with it. The condition of this room was amazing. I have been to many hotels and timeshares. THIS WAS THE CLEANEST ROOM I HAVE EVER STAYED IN!!!
The walk to the park is one minute. If you are disabled, this is the perfect place to be. Three bars are connected to the hotel. So if you want to have a few beers and walk up to your room, it is perfect. On a side note: The staff and the people at the bars are a good crowd and quite friendly. You won't feel unsafe if you are a peaceful person. Being a police officer, I don't like to be in the wrong kind of crowd. I HIGHLY SUGGEST STAYING HERE!!! GO ORIOLES!!!!! WE MADE THE PLAYOFFS!!

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the park.

This Hampton Inn is directly across from Oriole Park. Near pubs and restaurants. The Univerisity of Maryland is a couple blocks away. They have quiet hours throughout the day.
There is in and out valet parking although as long as you are going to stay in the downtown area, you can just park it and walk it. If you are staying downtown, there are other garages that may be cheaper, but do not offer in and out privileges.

Room Tip: Try requesting a room that overlooks Oriole Park.
