“Too noisey when ballgames are in town”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012 via mobile

Just stayed 4 nights and got 2 nights of sleep. Monday night football and baseball crowds do not mix with business travelers.
Two bars right at front door make it a fans hotel but don't plan on sleeping. Too many non guest flooding into lobby to bathrooms and dining area. Hotel staff very nice and rooms clean. Would stay again but it is in high traffic area and not first choice.

Mobileworldtraveler,

Thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback regarding your most recent stay at our property. On behalf of the entire team, please accept my apologies for us not being able to provide you with a stay exceeding your expectations. It is important, when traveling on business, that guests are provided with a quiet room free of disturbances allowing them to relax and unwind after a hectic day, or focus on business at hand. It is certainly true that the area surrounding the property is festive during game days, but we also do have rooms that are quieter, and away from the excitement. I apologize for us not identifying one of these rooms for you during your stay.

When your travels bring you back to Baltimore, please contact me directly so that we may identify a section of the property that is ideal for you and make this notation on your profile for all future stays. On behalf of the entire team, thank you for taking the time to provide some feedback and as always, if there is any additional assistance I may provide to you either now or in the future, I am at your service.

Respectfully,

Christopher D. Guerrero, CHA

The rooms are huge and very clean. It is located right at the heart of the harbor. Bedsheets are always fresh and the breakfast is great!!!
The staff are friendly, accomodating, yet very professional. And oh...the valet/bellboys are just amazing!

Stayed 2 nights over Labor Day weekend for Baltimore Grand Prix. I have averaged 75 nights/year in hotels for over 30 years and this staff has to be one of the best in all my travels.
From the front desk people, the breakfast staff, the guys parking the cars and the folks cleaning the rooms, they all were the most friendly group of hotel employees I have experienced.
Hotel was very clean and close to many good places to eat. Nice to know you don't have to spend $300 and up per night to have a nice visit.

We had the pleasure of staying at this property over the Labor Day Weekend and during the Baltimore Gran Prix. The staff did a great job getting us in and out of the parking area which was no small task considering the location of the track and event traffic.

Although the entire staff was warm and accommodating, one individual at the property that stood out above and beyond was Jamel. He was friendly and funny from our first meeting him late Friday evening, until our departure on Sunday. He even made the point of telling us Sunday morning that he would be grilling hot dogs on the patio at lunch.

Again everyone at the property was great and we will be sure to visit this property again next time we are in Baltimore.

FYI. The hot dogs were really good!

Stayed two nights in August. Valet parking was very efficient and check-in was a breeze. Was pleaseantly surprised by the size of the room. Breakfast selection was ok.

Only tiny mishap was on the first night, when everybody was having fun, then suddenly we all were kicked out of the pool and spa at 8:45 PM (closing time was 10) because the lifeguard was "adding chemicals". Took about 20 minutes before he reopened them.

Location was excellent since we intended on catching a ball game, which we did. Although there was a lot of action, we barely heard any noise.

My family was very pleased with our stay! We were in town for a baseball game so it was delightful surprise to see that Camden Yards was literally right across the street. Inner Harbor area was also a close walk for those who look to spend time there. The decor was wonderful and the rooms were so comfortable. Breakfast was good - it was nice to have a little variety after staying in hotels for a week straight. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Booked a short vacation in Baltimore to see an O's game, visit the Aquarium, and check out some other attractions - I couldn't have been more satisfied with the service, cleanliness, and location of the Hampton Inn. Directly across the street from Oriole Park - an easy walk to the Aquarium, around the corner from Babe Ruth's birthplace - very convenient location. The customer service was outstanding - complimentary breakfast was very, very good. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone and plan on staying here again in the future.
