First, let me preface this by saying that I stayed here two nights for free with credit card rewards, and we were upgraded to a 2-bedroom suite (which was almost as big as our house!) for free.
The room was spotless, and had a full kitchen. It was broken up into 3 separate areas, separated by doors: 2 bedrooms at either end, and a living room with kitchen and office area in the center. A "welcome basket" which consisted of coffee and popcorn, as well as a Pepperidge Farm cookie packet, were in the room when we arrived. A glass jar filled with hard candy was also provided.
The staff was helpful and friendly, the buffet breakfast was good (make your own waffle included), and the hotel is secure.
Don't use your car, as everything worth seeing is within walking distance. I would NOT recommend walking into Little Italy (as we did) with children. It's a little shady, and a stroller is tough to maneuver over the uneven sidewalks. Stay along the water and just tour Fells Point.
Only the adventurous should try the Lexington Market (as we did, to get crab cakes from Faidley's). It's a bit of a hike, and not in an inviting area.
I wouldn't recommend the parking lot that the hotel uses, as I paid $21 per day to park there. Try one of the other lots, I think there are some that are at least $3 less per day.
