The bellhop, front desk staff, custodians were all extremely pleasant and helpful. The location is also excellent; walking distance to Inner Harbor attractions with very safe location for walking at night. The view of the Inner Harbor is beautiful at night. If you want to save some money on parking, park in Pier V garage rather than hotel parking lot. It is less than half the cost and very convenient. I would reccomend this hotel to anyone. Extremely pleasant stay. This 4 star met and even exceeded my expections.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the Residence Inn. The rooms were clean, spacious, and new. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. It was only a 5-10 minute walk to the inner harbor. The staff was friendly and courteous. The free hot breakfast each morning was a big plus. It was much more than we expected. I recommend the comdey factory which is a stand up comedy show just across the street above Burke's cafe. Hint: Do not sit in the front unless you are okay with being part of the show. Also if your looking
for night life fun check out the powerplant live near the iner harbor
on Market Place. They have multiple bars and sources of entertainment
all in a central area. Howl at the Moon was a nice bar.

I had read all the recent reviews on tripadvisor (my hotel bible).
I found it more mixed than I had hoped.

Pluses:
Good size, quiet two-room suite. It was reasonably priced with excellent valet car service. There was a good kitchenette as a bonus. The top floor gave no problems with noise.

Minuses:
I had asked a crib be put in the room twice before we came. When I had to call from the room and ask the third time, the front desk said "Oh, would you like a crib in the suite?". Then I felt like a tip was expected for the 30 seconds it took to assemble. (I generally tip well, but didn't like that I had to ask 3 times).
There was only one temperature control which would have been fine if I had known. The living room and the bedroom were somewhat different and I got up in the middle of night searching for an extra blanket. The linnens and pillows were disappointing too...5 pillows, but all the same - quite uncomfortable.

  • Liked — 2 separate rooms, well-equipped, good valet
  • Disliked — only one "restaurant" within walking distance

Have to agree...this is a super place to stay, especially on business. The breakfast & the gym are very nice and security is pretty tight. Staff is friendly. Try to get a corner room on a high floor. Overall, very comfortable and good location.

I stayed here with my parents while visiting my brother over a weekend in January. The location is good and the staff are acommodating- we had an issue with our reservation and the staff took our word for it, even though it was possibly our mis-understanding.

Our suite faced Light Street, and it is noisy. I'd recommend getting a high floor and asking to stay off of Light and off of Redwood

Breakfasts were crowded, but food continued to be brought out.

Other observations:
- for the "One Bedroom Suite", the bathroom is in the bedroom and not directly accessible for the person staying in the living area on the pull-out sofa.

-The suite is smallish- you have to move all of the furniture in order to pull out the bed.

-Walls are thin- I had to call security due to a loud group of people in the suite next to me.

-We did our own parking in a garage a block away (entrance on Charles St)
