“Fit for a King”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 26, 2012

I stayed at this hotel under my platinum Elite membership, and it was perfect. They upgraded me to a large room with a pleasant view of downtown. The concierge suit was well maintained. 2 of the 3 evenings they left a bag of goodies at my bedside. The hotel was across the street from the conventions center, near a conference I had gone to.
A few hairs on the floor of the bathroom that weren't mine, but I was too preoccupied with the huge room to care much.

Checked into the Residence Inn Inner Harbor for a mini family reunion, was immediately greated at the curb by a smiling helpful doorman and the service got better from there. We were very early for check in and the front desk went out of their way to have a room ready for us so early. We reserved a two bedrom suite which was perfect for my husband and I and two grown sons. Bedrooms were seperated by living space with a full kitchen and each had it's own bath. Really great location two blocks from the inner harbor and it has a really good restaurant and bar in the lobby. We ate dinner there one night and the boys could not stop raving about the food. Nice to come back to also and have a night cap before taking an elevator home!.. We slept in for breakfast the first day and there was a dunkin donuts next door where we could buy something cheap and bring it up to the room for two sleeping adolescents . Did make it for breakfast during our stay and the breakfast was perfect with sausage, eggs, make your own waffles, bagels all included in the price of the room. Great hotel, service and value.

Room Tip: Very spacious rooms and all sizes, studios, one bedroom and two bedroom suites

I don't know hugh hotels in baltimore command such high prices, but for what was available this hotel seemed to be the best. The hotel is just an average hotel. The parking is about 30 a night extra for valet and not much cheeper for the local public lots. The rooms was OK. The gym is small but you can walk to Brick Bodies for a $15 day fee.

I am a Marriott elite member, but this experience was not that great. The rooms appeared to need renovation, and it was expensive for the "motelish" feel of the room.

They did offer a pass to a very nice gym in the inner harbor. The location is GREAT! I love this area as it provides very nice restaurants, a Whole Foods, and a movie theatre all within one block walking distance. The breakfast was just OK, and kind of pricey for the limited choices.

We chose this hotel to accomodate out-of-town guests attending a family wedding. Everyone had a positive experience. Rooms & suites were quite comfortable. The morning breakfast buffet was quite generous, with hot food, not just donuts & coffee. It's a short walk to the Inner Harbor attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. Easy on & off the highways.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2012

My husband and I took our 9 month old daughter to Baltimore for her first vacation, and we stayed at the Residence Inn. This was a perfect spot for visiting the Inner Harbor - only a couple of blocks from the water. I am SO glad we got a suite - there was a full granite/stainless steel kitchen with dishwasher (a necessity with bottles!), a king sized bed in it's own room, a living room with pullout sofa, soft ottomans, and an easy chair, and a great bathroom area. Both the living room and bedroom had huge flat screen TVs. The hotel happily provided us with a pack and play and a high chair. The room was basically perfect. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the food (breakfast and room service) was only so-so, and the two times we asked for directions, we were sent the complete wrong way. However, the staff was very friendly, and happy to provide anything we needed. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you have children.

Room Tip: Highest floors on harbor side have water view!

The Hotel's studio is enough spacious to accomodate a family of five. The room are also very clean and comfortable.
The staff is friendly and give an excellent service.
The baseball park is only a 15 minutes walk.
The hotel offers a perfect location!
