“Best in Little Italy”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2012

Very expensive to eat here, but if you want an experience straight from Italy, this is the place to go. The specialty is the pork chop and it is phenomenal. If you want a special place for a special couples night out, you can't beat this restaurant.

“If you love Italian food this is a must try!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

This restaurant has been visited by many famous people. The pictures are posted all around. I enjoyed a veal dish. The design is really cool too. It's the size of a narrow row house and goes up many floors.

This is a delicious high end italian restaurant. a little pricey but you will love it. It is a family owned place and you can tell they care about their customers

“Great Atmosphere, but pricey”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

the first time I went to this restaurant was when I had family visiting who wanted some good Italian food. At 2 pm on a Friday, it was quiet and we were the only patrons in the whole place. We each got appetizers (clams casino, calamari, Caesar salad) everything was delicious. I highly recommend the chicken sorrenntina. Everything tasted perfect the chicken cooked wonderfully and the sauce was amazing. The portions are small but typically are in fine dining. You pay for what you get here and that is impeccable service who will pick you up by limo if your downtown. Outstanding wait staff who is extremely good at explaining the menu and helping you choose a great meal. It is very expensive for dinner, lunch is still pricey but reasonable. This is more of a special occasion place, unless you are wealthy. Highly recommend it and I'm shocked it has gotten negative reviews.

“Overpriced, dirty, mediocre food.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

My Italian father always said you can tell a restaurant by it's bread. I should have left right after the first bite of this supermarket item. However, I was curious about trying this place and ordered the veal marsala which is all I received. A small plate of veal a few mushrooms no vegetable, not even a small pasta side. Everything is al a carte and the rigid consumer unfriendly policy is NO SUBSTITUTIONS! They say that is not to interfere with the flavor, but how can that happen when everything is al a cart? You can't even order an individual glass of wine and the bottles are way over priced! The dessert was another big thud as a bocci ball couldn't even crack my cannoli shell and the filling was soupy.

With all the great restaurants in Baltimore, I can't understand how this one has survived. Oh, and they really need to clean the carpet, dust the dirty artificial flowers and move the chairs from up against the ladies room. Yuk.
