Ok coming from a hometown where Italian pastry shops are on every other corner and competition to be the best is fierce, this place wouldn't stand a chance. We arrived after dinner at about 9pm and the line was out the door. Seating inside was limited and completely full. There were tables outside but they were not being used. We decided to take our purchases to go. We decided on a napolean, pignoli cookies and two cups of gelato. The gelato was our best purchase and wasn't the best I've ever had. The napolean was just terrible and the cream inside almost tasted like pudding. The pignoli cookies were stale.
I guess since this seems to be the only Italian pastry shop in the area people flock to it. If you're in the area and looking for sweets stick to the gelato. I wouldn't recommend coming from far away to go here.
