Located in the Power Plant district of the Inner Harbour; Phillips is a popular spot so we weren't surprised it was so busy when we arrived at 8:30 pm the evening we went which was a Sunday. They could not seat us right away as they were full so we sat in the bar first (make reservations i guess). The staff were a bit overwhelmed and told us so. They were working past their closing time which apparently is 9 pm on a Sunday - a bit early to close for any restaurant anywhere; no?? Anyway the serving staff told us they had been there since 10 am that day and we were seated at 9:30 pm (after waiting ofr a table in the bar for an hour). The place was packed though so obviously it was popular. We couldn't complain about the food as it was very good but we did feel a bit rushed by the staff. All in all; average tourist trap kind of restaurant but if you are ok with that, it was good just the same.
