Description: Classic Casual Dining: Phillips new Baltimore location, is an exciting and easy blend of vintage and modern, with a nod to the longstanding tradition of Phillips restaurants. Phillips at the Power Plant sits directly on the water, just a few steps away from the old Light Street Pavilion location, in the iconic renovated Power Plant industrial building. The innovative redesign of the interior by Carl Myers and Marcie DeLaRosa shows off gleaming, rich woods and jewel toned stained glass fixtures, distressed finishes and antiqued mirrors juxtaposed with a modern, open kitchen.

“Very Touristy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2012

Located in the Power Plant district of the Inner Harbour; Phillips is a popular spot so we weren't surprised it was so busy when we arrived at 8:30 pm the evening we went which was a Sunday. They could not seat us right away as they were full so we sat in the bar first (make reservations i guess). The staff were a bit overwhelmed and told us so. They were working past their closing time which apparently is 9 pm on a Sunday - a bit early to close for any restaurant anywhere; no?? Anyway the serving staff told us they had been there since 10 am that day and we were seated at 9:30 pm (after waiting ofr a table in the bar for an hour). The place was packed though so obviously it was popular. We couldn't complain about the food as it was very good but we did feel a bit rushed by the staff. All in all; average tourist trap kind of restaurant but if you are ok with that, it was good just the same.

“Amazing crab cakes & shrimp!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 2, 2012

Food was so good we went twice over the weekend. The steamed shrimp and crab cakes were absolutely delicious as was the signature salad and several of the dessert options! The atmosphere was great and server Sarah was exceptional! I will definitely return to a Phillips any time I see one!!!

“A lot to offer-even without Crabcakes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 30, 2012

New location is warm and inviting. Great service and wonderful menu, including 'simple fish' choices (cooked your way and with your sauce choice), classic American chicken and steak dishes, and of course 'signature dishes' and the famous crabcake (we thought it a bit too full of potato and not enough crab). Deserts here are incredible--inventive, huge and delicious!

“4 out of 5”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 28, 2012

5 of us for lunch: 2 adults and 3 kids ages 14, 10, 5. Nice atmosphere, would take the kids here at lunch but perhaps not for dinner (looked kind of dressy). Good menu with sufficient variety. Heavy emphasis on seafood.

We ordered:
1/2 burger (excellent)
kiddie grilled cheese (fine)
fish tacos (outstanding)
shrimp salad pita sandwich (very good)
calamari appetizer (poor; tasted very funky)
1 iced tea
1 soda
2 kid drinks
TOTAL BILL $68 before tip

Clean; good service; very relaxing and pleasant. Pricey, but this is a touristy location. Would certainly return.

“Love New Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 27, 2012

Now taking over the space of the ESPN Zone in the power plant building, great food (crab is absolute best) and great servers. Tables are nicely spaced so you can actually chat with your dining companions.
