“Friendly staff, clean, but dated”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Overall, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and the hotel staff were polite, professional and friendly. The room could use a makeover though. Old furnishings, outdated bathroom and small sink/vanity. It's a decent location, so easy walk to local restaurants.

“Still Best Value in Area”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2012

Harbor East in Baltimore is growing with the addition of several high end stores, restaurants and a new Four Seasons Hotel.
The Courtyard Marriott is still the best value in the area. Stayed in a corner suite with views in two directions. Hotel has maintained its high standard of cleanliness and helpful staff.
Breakfast is very good. Pool is rather shallow but refreshing after a hot day.
Location can't be beat set between the Inner Harbor and Fells Point - both interesting areas to explore.
I just hope that the influx of higher end restaurants, stores and hotels does not push up the price at this hotel.

Room Tip: Choose a suite - separate bedroom, living room, kitchenette, 2 TV's, Does not cost much more tha...

“Just as the prior reviews on the positive side had mentioned!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

We were down just for a long weekend get away. We stay at the Days Inn on convention week but wanted to try something new and closer to the Harbor on lesure. We had a junior suite got a great deal on the net was like $129 a night when I booked it and a couple days later was $229 a night!!!!!!! The room was spotless and very very nice, looking out our window thru the other buildings towards the Habor and even seen a cruise ship in the back ground on Sunday. The higher you go might not be any less noisy we were on the 14th and still heard the sirens!!! BAD WINDOWS!!!The included breakfest buffet was great but a little busy NO Big Deal.. I even gave the cook my compliments. The parking as said is valet for $30 something and right across the street to the left is all day for $20. Don't need the car walk to most places. Also they have the buses that run you north and south and east and west, we tried them to sight see and was great. Got off a couple of times to look around and did the local farmers market(Great Cheap Food Inside All Locals Were There) give it a try. When the sun goes down just keep an eye out, lot of Police On foot though but don't wonder to far by yourself. We eat at a resturant on the water by the Red Light House was high end but Fabulous can't remember the name but has inside and outside seating GREAT! Did the night life same as all big cities. Over all I will stay here again....

Room Tip: Try the 15th floor. Park across the street cheaper...Room had safe in it..

“Perfect location for an Inner Harbor vacation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012

This location is very close to all the Inner Harbor attractions. At check in we were given a packet with restaurants and other destinations labeled walk or cab, so we knew where we stood. I was traveling with an adult daughter and a 13 year old granddaughter, so a room with a king and a pull out sofa was perfect. We were on the 7th floor, and the room had a nice street view. The bathroom had a large shower and toilet, with the sink in an separate alcove, which made getting ready in the morning a breeze. We needed a refridgerator for medical reasons and one was sent up pronto. The front desk, in fact all employees, were extremely friendly. The wait staff in the breakfast area remembered us and our drinks of choice. Because I'm a loyalty-club member, we received a discount on the breakfast buffet which included all the continental breakfast items plus scrambled eggs, meats and make your own waffles. Omlets and eggs to order were available also. The room was clean and neat. The only down side was a group of people who let their children run up and down the halls until after 11 pm and again before 6 am. That was a bit noisy, so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper.

Right accross the street was a bus stop for the Circulator. This is a free bus service with several routes, that will take you to most of the tourist attractions.

The location is a few blocks from the inner harbor or Fells Point, or Little Italy so there is plenty of restaurants around. There's also a CVS and a Whole Foods just around the block. The CVS is open 24 hours and has a minit mart in case of illness or emergency.

The pool does not look exactly as the website has it, but it is fine for a cooling dip. There is a patio outside with lounge chairs if the weather cooperates. A lifeguard is on duty.

The rooms are clean and neat, but it's the staff who make this the place to stay. They all go out of their way to make you feel at home.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on floor 7 or higher

“Location was great,but...”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2012 via mobile

The location was great, walking distance to inner harbor, and even the Camden yards. But the stadium is a bit far if you have kid. The hotel was very clean, but maid service didnt come to clean the room until 4 pm the following day after our first night. Also, there is no free continental breakfast, which i feel is a negative. Overall, I thought it was a decent hotel, with a friendly staff and a good location, but those little things bothered me.

Thank you for your recent stay with us and for posting your comments on Trip Advisor. I am happy to see that you found the hotel to be clean and I do apologize about your room not receiving service until 4pm. During the week our room attendants are cleaning rooms until 4:30pm and on weekends until about 5:30pm, so it is true that some rooms are cleaned later in the day. Hopefully you will come back again to stay with us and if you do, you can always request that your room be cleaned earlier in the day or when you go out so that this does not happen again. Again I do apologize for the inconvenience that this caused you during your stay.
