“A must stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 17, 2014

My wife and i recently had a wonderful night at the Inn at the Black Olive. The accommodations, staff and food (we had brunch in the restaurant on the 5th floor) were all perfect. The only bad part of our experience was having to leave. The room was luxoriously relaxing and the cozy pure bed was beyond expectations. Highly recommend checking out the Inn at the Black Olive!

I was pleasantly surprised when I walked into this sumptuous beautifully decorated space. It is very much like an apartment with separate living room bedroom and large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub - it is in the fells point area so a little out of the hubbub of the inner harbor area - highly recommend it

This Inn is very unique and inviting. It is a peaceful and very comfortable sanctuary. Everything is organic, but with spacious and high end pampering. The staff is lovely and every room is unique. I can't wait to go back again.

Room Tip: They have 12 suites. I don't think you can go wrong with any of them (a staff person showed me s...

We recently stayed at the Inn at The Black Olive for a weekend (one night) getaway. The front desk staff was great, showed us to our room and explained all of the information about the structure and the eco-friendly environment. The room was huge (the basic suite), larger than most apartments in Baltimore. It featured beautiful local artwork (all available for purchase) and was well appointed for those that might stay for a longer trip. The bathroom had a huge shower and amazing two person jetted tub. The bed was comfortable and the two standing balconies were nice to look out. We selected this location because it was in walking distance of the reason for our trip the amazing Charleston! It was approximately a 5 minute walk along side-walked streets. Which was extremely convenient, especially after enjoying some wine. The room was very quiet at night which was nice (it was a week night), however, you were able to hear the trucks at the shipyard in the morning hours, which was not a bother to us. It was a very nice trip and a wonderful stay. (I reserve 5 stars for the most amazing places, but this was awfully close!)

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. From the time you walk in the service is great. The front desk staff especially Justin was top notch service. You can tell that the owners and managers have really taken time to prepare their staff. All of my questions were answered and the stay and tour of the facility will definitely make me come back. Job well done!!

The Inn at the Black Olive is a surprisingly luxurious boutique hotel in Fells Point. The dozen or so rooms are all spacious suites, beautifully designed and furnished with modern, natural materials. Beds are huge and exceptionally comfortable, bathrooms feature great Jacuzzi hot tubs and wonderful, big showers. Rooms overlook the harbor area. Large flat-screen TVs with access to the Internet as well as free Netflix. Full wi-fi throughout. A glamorous, comfortable, stylish hotel with very accommodating service. Highly recommended.

From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out we felt like family. AJ at the front desk checked us in our room wasn't ready yet so he offered to take our bags up to the room while we went and had lunch. Once we came back room was ready and wow were we truly blown away by the room. AJ brought us up to the room talked us through everything, the automatic lights are the best. Previous reviews mentioned them being a pain but I guess they didn't pay attention when it was explained that they can be adjusted. I got so use to them that when I got back home and walked into my bathroom I expected the lights to just turn on. I have also seen other reviews about the room being to cold. Well, the first night the room was a bit chilly for my taste but when I went downstairs and talked to Justin he turned up the heat for me and it was perfect! Justin btw is just as sweet as can be. The cafe is so good and everything is so fresh. The green drink is a must try especially after a night of bar hopping at Fells Point. Dimitri you have quite a gem on your hands. You and your employees are top notch! You made my friend and I feel as though we were family. Thanks again for your lovely hospitality and we look forward to visting your beautiful hotel again! P.S. Thanks for getting me hooked on the Jungle Peanuts now to find somewhere in Florida to buy them!
