I couldn't have asked for a warmer welcome after a sketchy cab ride from the airport!! I was traveling with a friend and we were exhausted after a marathon and a busy weekend in DC. Upon check in we were greeted with an extremely helpful employee who promised to arrange a car for us in the morning. While carrying up our bags the bell hop mentioned that we missed the complimentary wine hour and offered to bring us a glass. He returned with a fresh bottle of wine and two glasses. The hotel itself is beautiful and historic. The rooms are amazing and they offer C.O. Bigelow (for someone who travels a great deal, the toiletries are important) toiletries. We did not have the opportunity to venture out in to the city so I am not able to review the location but I would definitely recommend and revisit this hotel.
