Very interesting and enjoyable visit. The Exhibits are well done, interesting and not what you would find in other Art Museums

“Unique!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2012

This is an interesting collection of beautiful, sometimes quirky art. It's a great place for kids, too.

“Breath of fresh air”

I love all kinds of art, but AVAM consistently blows my mind. I make a point to go there every year to see the new exhibition.

“Pretty cool place.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

$15.00 admission. Three buildings. The main building is three floors. Very unusual artwork. Gives you a lot to think about. One exhibit was embroidery created by an imprisoned man who used thread from unraveled socks. The work was unbelievable. Huge sculpture made of toothpicks that was fascinating. Great little gift shop with some pretty quirkey things. Didn't eat at the restaurant, but stopped by for drinks. Sangria very good, good "different" beers and yummy bloody mary. Next time we would have lunch! This place is definitely worth an hour or two.
