The Admiral Fell is chock-full of history and they have a ghost walk around the building and a ghost "sing along" in the lobby. I like that they have tea five nights a week. Breakfast is your standard hotel buffet. Plenty of choices buy nothing terribly innovative (juice, coffee, eggs, cheese, yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, bacon, sausage, muffins, breads...)

Rooms are very spacious and clean (don't know why others called them dark and dingy - I didn't see that). Beds huge and comfortable. Bathroom nice and clean. Peeked into neighboring room and saw loft with jacuzzi.

Building is actually several buildings connected together. We were in one of the oldest parts.

One thing I didn't like - the $10 destination fee tacked onto the bill that paid for breakfast, local shuttle, two 20 once bottles of water (worth $2) and newspapers. Why not just roll it into price of hotel? We did use the shuttle, though, which took us to a hotel near the aquarium (really nice in the frigid January weather).

The location is AWESOME. The Fell's Point area is full of great restaurants and tons of bars. If outside noise bothers you, you may want to choose a different place - or ask for an interior room. The hotel itself is quiet and beautiful.

The staff was very courteous and professional. My room was very clean and nicely appointed. The hotel is located on one of the main streets in Fell's Point an historic section of Baltimore. The hotel fits with that historic feel. I would gladly stay in this hotel again. You can avoid the cost of the valet parking by using a public garage about 2 blocks away. If you use the public garage, make note of when the garage opens in the morning.

This hotel was exactly what my wife and I needed. It was a calm, relaxing escape from the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives. If you want a trip back into time, look no further than the Admiral Fell Inn. It is located right next to the touristy area of baltimore, and is centrally located amongst the places that the locals go. There are excellent restaurants and bars that range from the local watering holes to the nicer places with great food. I highly suggest this place, and I will be telling all of my friends. They probably won't beat me back to this gem.

I must admit, I was worried after reading the reviews on here. But, I have come to realize that some people are just entirely too picky and that everyone's experience will differ. I am so glad I heeded the good reviews and ignored the bad because Admiral Fell Inn is spectacular. This hotel is not a luxury hotel, and it is not meant to me. It's a charming, boutique hotel with everythin you would need. Our room was very cozy with beautiful four-poster beds, and a great view of the cobblestone street. We did not have any trouble with noise, and the staff could not have been more accomodating and friendly. They even offered us an upgraded room! Our room was impeccably clean, and the bed was one of the more comfortable we've had in a hotel And we're picky! The location cannot be beat-right across from the Water Taxi, close to all the great shops and pubs. We loved Fell's Point! The breakfast, which was included with our room rate, was fantastic. A huge spread and a variety of items to please all palates. We were so happy we stayed here and will definitely stay here anytime we come back to the area! Ignore the naysayers on this review and stay at the Admiral Fell Inn!

First thing you must realize is this is not a LUXURY hotel. It is a historical, old, well maintained boutique hotel.
I will begin by saying I had no negative issues with this hotel because it was what I expected, and because I got an amazing price from Hotwire on it. The website prices were extremely high which is what the area commands, but for the same prices you can do much better in the area.
Parking is 25 bucks for valet, or you can park on the street right outside for free from 9pm to 10 am the next day, and 1 buck hourly before that.
Lobby nice, room had dated look to it, but all functional and for its age, was what I expected(pix atached.)
If paying full price, its a no brainer to go to Hendersons wharf which is right down the street. If getting a bargain price, there are no issues to worry about, and you will enjoy its unique charm and excellent location.
