I stayed at the Pier 5 for a job interview. The location seems really good, but I wasn't in town long enough to really take advantage of the close proximity to all the good stuff in downtown Baltimore. The lobby is posh - very nicely decked out and very clean. The room was very clean as well, with a nice bay overlook on the balcony. Very fast internet LAN connection came included for the price... this was a huge plus in prepping for the interview the next day. All these things can be found in many hotels in the same price range. What really set apart the experience apart was the customer service from the front desk. These people really went out of their way to help with anything they could. They even offered to have the maintenance guy bring me some extra AAA batteries! When I needed to get to my interview the next morning, they hooked me up with transportation. Unbelievable service, truly. Bad service totally kills a hotel experience for me... Pier 5 gets a hands-down A+.

This hotel exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for downtown harbor excursions, the staff went above and beyond to meet our needs especailly because we were traveling from out of town and needed early check-in and late checkout to accommodate our flight schedules. Empress Neal was especially remarkable in ensuring our experience was perfect. Thank you, Empress. The hotel activites are planned with attention to detail and we will definitely stay at Pier 5 on any and every return to Baltimore. Thank you

Nice hotel, great rooms, top shelf food in Ruth Chris Steakhouse. Two room suite is huge. Will stay again.

I recently stayed at the Pier 5 hotel at the Baltimore Harbor during the thanksgiving holiday weekend with a group of ten people and I can not begin to describe how amazing my experience was. The pictures on the website do no justice to how beautiful, clean, and amazing the hotel is in person. The staff was very professional, friendly and accommodating to the clients whom I brought along with me (clients with disabilities). I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends, families, and coworkers and look forward to staying there on my next trip. Not only does the hotel sit on the forefront of the Baltimore Harbor, the view from our rooms was breathtaking as it look out into the water and the city lights. The beds were extremely comfortable (something that was very important for the clients who were with me), the rooms were gorgeous, and the restaurant/room service accommodate to all my needs in regards to the special diet restrictions my clients were on. I can go on and on, but you would really have to experience it yourself to see exactly what I am talking about. Hope your experience is as great as mine!
