“Fabulous accommodations!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 11, 2012 via mobile

Stayed here on 9/8 for the Yankees/Orioles game. We booked the balcony parlor ballpark view room. It's 2 rooms with 2 separate entrances. The suite, on the 14th floor, includes king bedroom, 2 bathrooms, living room with pullout sofa bed, dining room, 2 TVs, and balcony overlooking Camden Yards with 4 chairs. You could also book the adjoining room next door if additional bedding is needed. The suite is nicely furnished. The view from the balcony is awesome. We ate in the Diamond Tavern and also had room service. Food was good in both cases. There is a pool and fitness center on the 4th floor. Inner harbor is about 3 blocks away. Rail and bus options are right outside the hotel. We are definitely planning to return next year. You can't beat the location and the hotel is very nice. The suite is expensive (try to get a AAA or AARP rate), but we felt it was worth it. Our grandkids loved it! Only things we did not like was $28 overnite parking and rooms were not ready until after 5 p.m. Otherwise, we highly recommend staying here if you're coming for a game.

I traveled to Baltimore for a business meeting at the Baltimore Hilton. The room was comfortable and had a view of Camden Yards. There was a night game and I could see right into the stadium and hear the crowd cheering on the Orioles. I was on the 14th floor.Nothing special about the room but it met my needs. The hotel is next to the convention center. I just needed to walk across a connector to my meeting. The meeting facility was run by the hotel. The meeting room was comfortable and the lunch provided was adequate, crab cakes. The front desk staff was efficient. I had left my phone charger at home and Thomas in the security department found a charger that worked with my phone. He was a life saver. The hotel is on a free bus line that takes you to the Inner Harbor and Little Italy. The Orange Line. There is a little seafood restaurant across the street and down a block, Luna Del Sea. It is a little pricey for what you get but casual and I Iiked the greek salad and the crab cakes. Cab ride from BWI 30 to 35 dollars. If I was vacationing I would have stayed closer to The Inner Harbor.

Stayed here during the Gran Prix. Hotel has a modern lobby an comfortable, albeit small, rooms. Service is quite good, a very welcoming staff. The hotel restaurant serves an average buffet in the morning, a bit expensive at $18. Close to Camden Yards, if you are coming in for a game.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for staying at the Hilton Baltimore. The 2012 Grand Prix of Baltimore really brought three days of 180 mph excitement to the heart of Baltimore on Labor Day weekend. We hope you enjoyed the stars and cars of the IZOD IndyCar Series and the American Le Mans Series on a 12-turn course that snakes through the heart of downtown Baltimore and along the Inner Harbor.
Thank you again for sharing your hotel experience. We hope to see you again in the near future.
Have a great week.

We stayed here the weekend of August 24-26 when we came down for an Orioles game. The location is perfect. We stayed on the 20th floor and could see right into the park. Hotel is also walking distance to the Inner Harbor and M&T Bank Stadium. Concierge level was worth the extra cost for us, free breakfast and snacks kept the expenses down. Parking is on-site, but a little expensive. Didn't need the car as everything is walking distance. My only complaint was the pillows were too wimpy.

Dear Valued Guest,

Thank you for sharing your Hilton Baltimore experience on TripAdvisor during the Baltimore Gran Prix. We all had such an exciting time here at work enjoying all the races. Our guests enjoyed a very nice view of the track available in our 2nd floor enclosed, temperature controlled sky bridge connecting the hotel to the Baltimore Convention Center.

I stayed at this hotel while in town on business. The hotel is very nice, with a nice open foyer. I asked for a room overlooking the baseball field and the room I got had a partial view of the field. The room itself was quite comfortable, but the bathroom had a very noisy extractor.

Parking was ok, and was not too expensive for a Baltimore hotel.

If you are trying to get there using a Sat Nav, don't bother. This weekend they are gearing up for the IndyCar Grand Prix, which goes right past the hotel. As a result, you can not go down any of the streets that the computer wants to take you.

The only bad thing was the noise from the next room. Once they were in the room it was fine, but if they were in the corridor, then you could hear every word, and they kept coming and going till about 2 am in the morning. Not really the hotels fault, but you might want to ask for a quiet room.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a view of the baseball field if there is a game. Ask for a quiet room with no on...
