Even though the impetus for our trip to Baltimore was the Linda Ronstadt concert at Pier Six Pavilion, we were glad that we followed the recommendation of Tripadvisor reviewers and stayed here rather than choosing someplace in the Inner Harbor. The distance from Fells Point was a bit of a hike but walkable and, of course, the nearby water taxi (at $8/day such an inexpensive way to enjoy the harbor) was very helpful in getting around on our second day devoted to seeing the sights. Bar-hopping's not our style, but we didn't find Fell's Point at all rowdy and certainly appreciated Kali's Court (on Thames), a gelato spot in the neighborhood, and a trio of champion terriers we met strolling by the water each afternoon.

The Inn itself met or surpassed every expectation of comfort and style we'd formed from Tripadvisor reviews. We were pleased with our wharf view and not at all bothered by some light foot traffic. One shortcoming is that no benches were available outdoors, so that we could sit and gaze at the boats on the harbor. Next time we come we'll bring along some portable seating in the trunk of our car.

Stayed one night in August. We found the hotel as described by other positive reviews. The room was very good. Compimentary bottle of wine was a nice touch. We took the advice of others and fot a garden view room, overlooking a nice courtyard that gave privacy and a pleasant view from our first floor room. Not a lot of foot traffic directly around the hotel, as it sits in a quiet residential area at the end of the wharf, so a harbor view room would probably be OK if that is what is available. The continental breakfast was good with a nice selection. I was particularly impressed by the staff. Everyone was helpful throughout. We happened to leave and item behind and when we called they confirmed it was recovered from our room and immediately mailed it back to us at home. Great service. I recommend this as the best place to stay if you are staying in the Inner Harbor or Fells Point area.

We recently returned from a one night stay at the Henderson Wharf Inn and really enjoyed our experience. We had stayed a month before at the Hyatt in the Inner Harbor, and found that hotel servicable but the area crowded with little charm. The Henderson changed our minds about hotels in Baltimore and the city in general. The staff was friendly and knowledgable, the rooms were lovely, the breakfast was great - overall the experience had the personal service you expect at a 5 star hotel with the feeling of a small inn. The area around Fell's Point was also much more interesting than the inner harbor, and you can easily take the water taxi to all the inner harbor sightseeing attractions. The hotel also includes free parking. They let us keep our car in their secure lot for 5 hours after we had checked out, which was incredibly helpful. This must be "the cool" place to stay because we noticed a band on tour unloading their bags when we were leaving. We will defintiely stay here again next time we are in Baltimore.

I think i had the best room in the house....or....is every room the best room in the house?? Honestly, I had the corner room, windows from all directions overlooking the harbor. Had my complimentary bottle of wine...and some wonderful seafood delivered to the hotel...this was just what I needed for a weekend away from work..kids...significant other! Quaint, intimate, luxurious (but not in a snobby, stuffy kinda way) his hotel is definately a DO! Stay here, by yourself or with someone special, you'll love it!

: )

My husband & I purchased tickets to a Yankee vs. Oriole's game back in January. We've always heard great things about Camden Yards & the the Inner Harbor, so we thought we'd take a break from Yankee stadium & check it out. Camden Yards was the best stadium we've ever been in. It's structurally beautiful, clean as a whistle & perfectly designed. Cal Ripken was being inducted that day in the Baseball Hall of Fame, so the fans were obviously supportive of their hometown hero. Now about the hotel......Loved it!!!! The building was beautiful inside & out. We had a Harbor View room, little pricey, but worth it. As other reviewers have mentioned people do walk past the windows, but we didn't find it intrusive at all. Not a big continental breakfast fan, but this was one of the best I've ever seen. We stayed 3 nights & the fruits & danish/breads/bagels varied each day. Fresh fruit, dried prunes, fresh dates, cottage cheese, apple cinnamon bread.....just a few choices. I don't drink coffee much, but it was very good. There's a great assortment of Tazo teas for you tea todler's. Ceramic mugs as well as styrofoam cups with lids are availble. Oh & coffee & teas are available 24/7. The staff was extremely helpful & pleasant. Go, trust me you'll enjoy. I didn't realize how many different sections there are in Baltimore. Between, the Harbor, Fells Point & all the other areas there are TONS of restaurants. You may want to do a little homework on the different neighborhoods & restaurants before you go. Bring comfy shoes. Cobblestone streets are not condusive to sandals or heels. We took the Duck Tour which is in the Inner Harbor. Very touristy & slightly cheesy, but fun & informative. These tours are availble in other City's like Miami for one. If you're not aware they are vehicles that were used by the US Army in WW2. They are amphibious which means they travel by land like a bus & then the Captain drives the duck right into the water. It was very informative. Take it your first day there. The Information Center was also one of the best I've ever seen. If staying at Henderson's (which is in Fells Point), you can walk or so I was told, my feet wouldn't allow it, take the Water Taxi which is $8 per day per adult or take a cab. Cabs are seven bucks & economically the better choice to get to the Inner Harbor. Unfortunately while we were in the City the Harbor was experiencing something called "Red Tide" which as I understand it is a bacterial organism which depletes the water of oxygen & the fish die in great numbers. There were alot of dead fish floating in the Harbor. In Fells Point we ate at Koopers,Red Star, Shuckers & Brick Oven Pizza. I would skip Schuckers, but take it from an italian don't miss BOP! In the Inner Harbor we ate at the Cheesecake factory, which is always good. Great shopping, Great food, Great Hotel, Great City = Great time!
