“Excellent! A new favorite!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

We went here during Memorial Day weekend for the first time and it was fantastic! We started with the movie which our family thought was the best NPS film we have seen. At the end, the screen lift with the Star Spangled Banner playing to the flag outside. Very well done and very touching. The actual fort outside was in excellent condition and there are more exhibits in the buildings within the fort. There was a lot of places to walk and explore so it never felt crowded. Excellent overall!

“proudly we hail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Visited on recent Baltimore trip.Great stop.History is well told and exhibited. You can walk and explore as little or much as you want. The volunteer guides are very well versed and have interesting details to share. This is easy to get to by car with ample parking and easy access. It is worth the time and effort.

“Definitely an historic site to visit”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

Very well laid out. Many people on hand to answer questions. The on-going film shown is one of the best we have ever seen and ends with the screen rising as the National Anthem is playing revealing the flag flying over the Fort reminding us of Key's inspiration.
