“Can't get them to respond!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2011

I really want to go here when I am in Baltimore later this month but I can't get them to respond to emails or phone messages. It's too bad because our time is so limited (there for a conference) and we need to plan.

“Fabulous Evening”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2011

We are just delighted to have " discovered" Germano's Trattoria. A comparable evening in New York would have cost hundreds of dollars. Our dinner was delicious and the singer Brooke Evers divine! We highly recommend this spot to our fellow Baltimoreans as well as our visitors.

“Red High Heels”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2009

I had an opportunity to attend “Cabaret at Germano’s Trattoria” starring Christy Trap with pianist Ron Chiles earlier this evening. What a hit Christy was! She brings personal experiences and a solid presence to the stage. It’s actually compelling listening to her. I related in many ways to what she was singing in her “Red High Heels” show. At times I found myself drifting off in thoughts inspired by her lyric selection--only to be pleasantly awakened by a burst of new found energy in her next number.

The venue for the performance provided by Germano’s (including a brand new baby grand piano) couldn’t have been better. The food and service prior to the performance was on the money… Do yourself a favor and plan an evening here soon.

“Exceeded our expectations”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2008

My family and I were in Baltimore last week on vacation and decided to spend Thursday night at the Cabaret at Germano's after reading the positive reviews on this website. Our expectations were pretty high based upon those reviews and I can only tell you that we had one of the best evenings out ever!

We were treated to some wonderful entertainment by Ms. Branda lock and Ms. Rebecca Bux, two very talented young women that currently reside in the area. We felt like we were witnessing something very special, that these two young ladies will some day become rising stars of stage and song as their voices and performances were just so inspiring. My daughter who was with us is also an aspiring young actress and she was impressed as well. They sang a variety of Broadway songs, from the very recognizable to some more oscure offerings and the banter between them was sincere and entertaining. We felt like we were at a very professional cabaret on Broadway! All this for a mere $10 cover charge in a terrific atmosphere in Baltimore's Little Itlay.

Our dinners were excellent and the service was attentive and superb. At the end of the show, the performers invited the three people in the audience who were celebrating their birthdays to come up on the stage and invited the audience to join them in singing Happy Birthday to them. That was truly a lovely touch. But the evening did not end there. One of the birthday celebrants was a young women from Los Angeles who was also an actress and she treated us to a very funny monolgue to end the evening.

We were kind of wiped out from all the walking we did earlier in the day so we found it just perfect to find a relaxing yet fun attraction of this quality that included great food and entertainment and that ended by 9:30pm. This was the highlight of our trip to Baltimore and I am already planning a return visit this Fall with some friends and relatives that will of course include a night at Germano's cabaret!

“We were thoroughly entertained!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 19, 2008

We are in Baltimore for a long weekend and decided to check out the Thursday Night Cabaret at Germano's thanks to a recommendation from our concierge. We are so glad that we took his advice!

Dinner at this little gem located in the heart of Little Itlay was really incredible. My veal chops were cooked to perfection and my girlfriend loved her chicken marsala. The complimentary house salad was fresh and covered with a light dressing which was perfect after a hot summer day of touring the city. We sat upstairs in their cabaret room which holds maybe 60 people and was packed.

The performers last night were a beautiful and talented young lady named Erin Wegner and her very talented piano and bass players. We were treated to her show entitled "Dare to Dream" which according to Germano's website (which is very well done and informative) has been performed to sold out audiences in New York City. Many of the selections were unfamiliar to us and were very refreshing as one can always hear the old standards at these type of shows. Some of those, however were sprinkled in for good measure creating just the right mix for our tastes. The show ranabout 90 minutes including a brief intermission and ended with a well deserved standing ovation. We would have gladly paid double the $10 cover charge for this caliber of entertainment.

We only wish that we could go back again for another show tomorrow night and may in fact go back just for another great meal. This has to be one of the best nights out that Baltimore has to offer!
