“Explore science and fun on any day at the Science center”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

This is a great place to take family and friends with young children. I recommend Going on the weekend and getting there early. Parking can be challenging if you go during the week. You can get meter parking across the way, but only if you go early. Don't worry it is easy to spend the entire day there. It will be the kids that won't want to leave. The schools around Maryland come out for field trips during the week. We purchased a membership when had young boys running around and family visiting. Museum lost money on us, because we went so often. This is fun for young to teenage kids, it shows how fun science can be, and you get to have some hands on experience. Docents do demos that will catch anyone's eye. Science becomes magic.

“Good starting point for Inner Harbor”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

We had a reciprocal science center pass, so this was a no-brainer. Nice exhibits, personable staff interpreters for demonstrations, etc. Plenty of go-at-your-own-pace and hands-on exhibits. Nice snack shop with good choices and reasonable choices. Check into parking validation for partner lots to save a few bucks.

“sorry, it was boring except for the movies”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 23, 2012

This science museum is for young children, 3-8, and not for repeat visits. We have been to quite a few like this and Boston puts this to shame. Just very bland and unimaginative.

“Fun place for young and old”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2012

The science center has a lot of hands on exhibits and interesting exhibits. The Imax theater runs several different movies daily so there is a variety to choose from. Great location right in the inner harbor and walking distance from other attractions like the National Aquarium.

“what a great surprise”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2012

We have been to Franklin Institute and Liberty Science Ctr in NJ but this place is more attractive, more wide open and just plain fun. Its not huge - 2 hours and my kids (8,10,12) were done, but its great for younger kids. Really nice place - seems new.
