“Worthwhile for a short visit”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

We stopped here while in Baltimore and enjoyed the visit. Yes, some of the exhibits feel very random but as a baseball fan, it is definitely worth a short stop. We spent around 45 minutes here and saw everything. They will be undergoing a major renovation to make it more accessible so not sure how much will be open during construction.

“Baseballs on sidewalk lead you to this site”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2013

Less than 2 blocks from the Hampton Inn, one just follows the baseballs on the sidewalk to find the Babe's Birthplace and Museum. An hour is more than sufficient to see it all. All kinds of Babe memorabilia including his birth certificate. My favorite is the famous picture of Babe in his last game at Yankee Stadium. The video downstairs of the Star Spangled Banner will bring goose pimples and is worth watching. There are stairs that may be difficult to navigate for the elderly and/or disabled. Some good facts about the Babe's childhood and his time spent in a Baltimore orphanage.

“Nice little attraction (TIP included)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 30, 2013

Cute little house, only takes about 10-20 mins to peruse but its relatively inexpensive and loaded with "Babe" memorabilia.Attractions for the 500 Home Run Club and more are pretty cool.

TIP: stay for the story on the Star Bangled Banner, very cool and professionally done. Made me proud to be an American

“It's so nice they have preserved this piece of baseball history”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 27, 2013 via mobile

It's small, and quick. It was a groupon so it was a great value for our family. I could see people being upset if they paid full price. It's awesome to see his wall of home runs, and the pictures/artwork is very nice. The actual memoriablia is a great thing to see in today's age of everything has to be he latest and greatest manufactured tool. This guy did it with just sheer power.

“Follow the baseball pathway”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2013

A very cool experience for those interested in the history of baseball and Babe Ruth. It's a very small house and doesn't take much time to see everything. There is an upstairs with some nice pictures and history of Babe and a good video downstairs in the corner room to see. My husband and I came with our stroller which was difficult but one of the nice workers helped lift it up the stairs and made room for us to park the stroller to look around because we couldn't take it upstairs. (they are getting an elevator next year) I really enjoyed it. Be sure to get the combo entrance ticket and visit the Sports Legend Museum down the block. If you start at the Sports Museum by Oriole Park you can just follow the baseball pathway to the house. A very neat way to show directions.
