“Great hotel and Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

We recently had our wedding in the area and had a few of our guests stay at the Hilton Garden Inn. The hotel was great, the staff was on point, and everyone enjoyed their time there. The hotel is conveniently located. Nick and Marion made our group booking easy.

My wife and I stayed at this property (split in half as some newer Hiltons seem to be with a Homewood Suites property on the other "side") for two nights using Hilton Honors points. We had an 11th-floor room with a partial view of the Inner Harbor.

The location of the hotel is one of its biggest assets. It is within easy walking distance of the central Inner Harbor and is steps away from a water taxi that circles to all of the main tourist areas.

The property itself is very comfortable, but our room was starting to show some wear and tear (the carpet was damaged in one spot, the caulking in the shower was peeling off, and the shower handle itself had started to come loose). The bed, as usual, was great and we had no complaints about the accommodation more broadly.

Hotel guests have complimentary access to an amazing gym which was a nice treat as well. The breakfast (ours was free because of honors status) was quite good; fresh fruit and made-to-order omelets were highlights.

Street noise (even on the 11th floor) was relatively muted, save when a police escort took what appeared to be the Oakland Raiders football team to the stadium on Sunday morning.

There were some problems with the elevators during our stay (my wife had to walk down several six or seven flights of stairs at one point) which was the only significant issue.

All in all, we had a lovely time (helped by 70-degree weather).

Hilton Garden Inn in Baltimore Inner Harbor is a great location and I had a great stay in there.
It has got great rooms, high speed Internet, cable TV. Great View. Close to wonderful restaurants, whole foods, CVS.
The guests have access to world class workout facility (Hilton has partnered with a local gym) and don't have to leave the building. The place has an Olympic size indoor swimming pool (salt water)
Sauna too.
Hilton provides 2 complimentary bottled water for Hilton Honor guests, but only the first day, which i thought was kind a silly. They should be providing 2 bottled water every day.
They also have a breakfast and if your company is a HHonor partner then you can get breakfast coupons at the front desk.
Starbucks is next door for all you heavy coffee drinkers.
There is also a movie theater next door, so if you want to catch a movie that was just released, you don't need to take a taxi.

Thank you very much for taking the time to share the details of your visit to Baltimore! The Harbor East location, offering Whole Foods, Starbucks and CVS is definitely a benefit to regular travelers. The American Grill is also a dining option, located within the hotel, and offers made-to-order breakfast for all of our guests. Our Gold and Diamond Hilton Honors guests absolutely have the option of choosing complimentary breakfast during their visits and can start their day with a hot and healthy breakfast. Thank you again for such wonderful sentiments and I look forward to sharing your feedback with the hotel team!

This hotel is in a great location. The hotel is very clean and kept clean all day. The staff are very friendly and do their best to may guests happy. This hotel has a restaurant that operates at core hours but fairly good. There is a Starbucks and a Landmark movie Theater next door. What I liked is that this Hotel is located near the harbor area which is connected from end to the other end for walking, riding, running. The harbor is a great place to just sit and read, meditate, or people watch. Baltimore is a great place to visit for a few days. Lots to do.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel for just one evening. We felt it to be a comfortable hotel. Nicely situated for the inner harbor, but the must significant factor for us was it was attached to a gymnasium. A completely fully furnished gym. So if you or someone you are traveling with enjoys being able to continue their workout routine, I would highly recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: Recommend the suits. Standard king rooms are extremely small.

I'll just get right to the point here. Certainly this is a top notch hotel. It is BEAUTIFUL! The rooms are stunning, the bathrooms are roomy and the beds are incredibly comfortable!

But, above all, this is a also a hotel with a heart. In the days leading up to Hurricane Sandy, the Hilton Garden Inn put altruism before profit. In an11th hour gesture, these folks generously gifted rooms for a night to a group of extremely tired, travel weary American Red Cross volunteers who had flown into town to deliver Disaster Relief in the wake of the storm. Now, you might think that this is excessive. But they gave us the chance to rest and get at least one good nights sleep before we embarked on a three week, 12 hour a day work schedule. If not for them, we would have had to sleep in a warehouse. Even though we left our families and normal life at home, the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn treated us like we WERE family. And even though we were staying there gratis, they still treated us as though we were their most important paying customers. We cannot thank them enough for their generosity. They helped us by giving us the capability of helping others. Just thanks are not enough.

So if you are in Baltimore, do yourself a favor and give your business to a hotel that has the kind of values that make us a great country. You won't be disappointed. The staff here is the friendliest and most accommodating group of service workers I've ever come across. It's also right off of the harbor in a beautiful location!

I can't wait to revisit this amazing city and stay at the Hilton Garden Inn again. This time when it's not so wet!

Thank you for taking the time to share the details of your recent visit - particularly considering how stressful Hurricane Sandy has been on everyone. I am very pleased that the hotel team took such fantastic care of you and that you were able to rest during such a difficult and anxiety-producing time. We hope to welcome you back in the future to the Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore Inner Harbor - but for fun!

As you arrive to the Hilton Garden Inn Baltimore on the Inner Harbor you may be lucky enough to be greeted by the smiling and bubbly personalities of Marcus, Kim, Ebony and Akasha. We could not have asked for a more pleasant and customer focused group of individuals and they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant and exceed our expectations. This is great team and the management of the Hilton Garden Inn should be pleased.

The rooms were clean, the housekeeping services superior and the attached work out facilities are top notch. Located within walking distance of the major inner harbor, there are lots of restaurants, bars and places to walk and enjoy your time. We recommend this as a great place to stay and for the money, a value compared to other hotels in the same area. You will not be disappointed. '

On a side note, do us a nice favor and bring Akaska a Caramel macchiato double shot from the Starbucks right next door and tell her hello from her friends in Ohio.

Room Tip: Our room was on the front side of the building on the 7th floor. We enjoyed the view of the street...
