We were so lucky that the market was on the Stone Village Tourist Camp where we were staying. The overall quality is surprising for this remote spot and, contrary to other reviews, we found the prices to be reasonable given the emphasis on natural and healthy foods, including a limited selection of fresh fruits and veggies.
The deli offered $6-7 made-to-order sandwiches were piled high with your choice of a variety of interesting ingredients, althouth the bread was not homemade. My 12-year old could only eat half. Prepacked chicken, tuna, and potato salads compliment a small salad bar and daily soups are available (not tried). Nice beer and wine selection as well.
Premade breakfast burritos, sandwiches, fruit parfaits, and a few pastries are all reasonably priced and tasty by my standards, but tend to sell out. The gourmet coffee is a nice touch (4 flavors) and is complimentary to lodge guests. An organic juice smoothie from the fridge section rounded out a great morning.
In this fried food, beef heavy area, the market is a good spot for friendly service and some healthier options.
