“Nice Place To Be A Regular!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2011

We have dined at Bridgewater Bistro many times since it has opened. It boasts one of the most beautiful dining rooms on the Oregon Coast and the food is very good. We have been for brunch, lunch and dinner. Ratatouille is on the menu which is a nice dish to have by the fire when the weather is cool.

We recently stopped in for some Fish and Chips were very good. The bar offers a nice selection of local wines and mixed drinks. I recently enjoyed a Mango Bellini which was really nice. The spacious outdoor patio overlooks the Columbia River. Don't miss this one while in Astoria! :)

“Loved everything about this restaurant!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2011

We were greeted with a smile and the owner explained how the restaurant evolved from a warehouse....very interesting. We did a google search for restaurants in this area and decided on this one..............I must say, a wonderful choice! Our waiter was very pleasant and we received "top notch" service. We were there for lunch and we all were very happy with our soup/sandwich choice as we were with our salad/sandwich choice. This restaurant aims to please and that they did. If I didn't live in Florida, I can assure you, I would return at least once a week if not more!!!! I know you will not be disappointed with its menu or its ambiance! Oh! Order the 3 desserts...they are to die for!!!

“Foodie Bistro in Astoria, OR”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2011

What a treat to stumble upon Bridgewater Bistro with our ipad and ChowHound recommendations. It was as good as it was supposed to be, but we were not aware of its gluten-free friendliness and awareness. The wife of the owner makes fabulous gluten-free bread. Those of us who are served 'gluten-free" bread never know what it is to be, and this bread served at lunch was light, nutty and with seeds sliced thinly. Nice.
The salad with crab, burger cooked medium rare as ordered, ratatouille, and veggie wrap were all devoured and thoroughly enjoyed. The beer brewed at the restaurant was terrific as was the local WA chardonnay. Our server was kind and attentive. The water views and windows light and airy with new art in the building and a gift store to purchase glasswares, wines, spices and teas.
Kudos!
