When I read some of the reviews identifying the food as good Italian, I was interested to give Fulio's a try while visiting Astoria. When we arrived, they were apparently only accepting reservations, yet made an exception for us. That was a pleasant start. When the table was finally prepared, there was an uber sense of urgency to get each patron in and out the door. The wait staff were, literally, running with orders and meals.....very odd, yet entertaining to observe. I had the "Rigatoni Mustarde Salsiccia". It sounded interesting and it certainly was. Never had pasta with essentially dijon mustard and a plethora of mustard seeds (still have that awful taste in my mouth). The ciabatta bread served with olive oil and 6 year old balsamic vinegar was quite decent, although I would have expected it to be fresh baked and/or warm (wasn't included in the meal, had to pay for bread). It wasn't the best meal, but certainly not the worst.
