“Fun and Cute”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The Trolley is a really fun way to travel in Astoria. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express and there is a stop right outside the door. We took it right to the Maritime Museum. Especially fun for our daughter.

“$1 for a ride and history lesson”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

for $1 you can ride the trolley & learn a little about the town of Astoria. You can see where the robot jumped from the bridge in Short Circuit and where Arnold took his date to dinner on Kindergarten Cop, you can also see a house from the Goonies movie. You can also learn about the fishing history of the town. The conductors were super friendly and the kids loved it. The ride would have been about an hour with many stops to get off and look at this along the way, but they did have a breakdown so we walked back to the car which was only 2 blocks from where we were, The Maritime Museum. I have ridden it before and never had this issue and will ride it again.

!/2 way through the ride everyone stands up to turn the seats around to face the other direction. Neat trick

“Best Way to Discover The History of Astoria”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2012

For $1.00 or $2.00 all day you can take a narrated ride the length of Astoria's waterfront on a classic electric trolley. A the north end stop you can check out the Rogue Brewery and catch the next trolley back to the south end stop. A good way to get to Astoria's Sunday Market and avoid trying to find parking close to the market.

“Nice way to get around the waterfront.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

We saw the trolley running early in the morning, was not supposed to start till noon. Took a chance and got it on the way back west. Turned out that they were training new motor personnel. The let us board anyway at no charge. The price is reasonable anyway.1 dollar for each boarding or 2 dollars to ride all day. The round trip took about an hour and it gave me a chance to look around without worrying about traffic. Though there was no narration during the training run,the trainers were making sure we were informed of the most interesting sites. Even though they didn't charge us we placed a donation in the box to keep this valuable attraction running.

This is a nice relaxing little ride on the waterfront. Make sure you visit all the attractions in Astoria. You will not be disappointed. Some great coffee shops in the downtown area. Make sure you visit a few.
