This motel is just a small local one with very inexpensive rates. We were in Rm. 109 and everything was clean and properly cared for. I had contact with three different people in the office during our two night stay and they were very pleasant and helpful about local sites, etc. Would definitely stay again if in Astoria. This is a basic room and not anything fancy at all but neither are the prices. The breakfast is simply Spunkelmeyer (sp?) muffins and coffee. However, there is a nice restaurant across the street and two or three within a block and the ocean walk is across the street. A waterfront trolley stop is about two blocks away. There is some traffic noise as it is on Hwy. 30 which is the main 'drag' through town. However, it seemed to be very reduced as it got into the evening and was not a problem. The walls are thin and I imagine if there was a noisy neighbor, you would certainly hear them but that was not the case during our stay. In fact, the clientele seemed to be older (probably because of the price). One way I judge a motel and especially an older one such as this is the type of vehicles in the parking lot and the huge majority during our stay were all relatively new cars.

First time staying at this motel, and it will be the last time too! No alarm clocks at all in our room to even tell us what time it is, or to wake us up when it was time to check out. Worst of all, the sheets in the bed were changed, but were bloodstained! Have nothing good to say about this motel at all!

This was our first night in the states. The town of Astoria is a bit creepy but the motel was good.

Good prices, a tiny breakfast included, bathroom and beds were good, fridge in the room.
The room was small.

The walls are paperthin, I was kept awake all night...and the manager had no sense of people skills at all. The worst hotel ever. :(
