“Wow! Even if you have NO maritime interest.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2012

This was a stop in Astoria that my husband wanted to make. I can say, honestly, that I had zero interest in visiting, but I went with an open mind. Boy was I surprised! The museum is so well done, interactive and interesting! There's a lightboat you can tour and so many multimedia and museum displays. It is an exceptional gem. Your trip to Astoria and your understanding of the Columbia River will not be complete without a stop at the Maritime Museum!

“The whole family loved it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2012

Worth every minute. We're the type of people to absorb every bit of information in a place like this, but even the less boat and ocean obsessed will find it enjoyable. Good for all ages.

Great place to visit! We could have spent more time there but they were closing.
