Be sure to watch the movie before seeing the rest of the museum. Very interesting. Gives you a whole new perspective on the Columbia River

“Very interesting.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 14, 2012

I learned a lot at this museum. They had a tattoo exhibit when I visited that I really enjoyed. Visiting the coast guard ship was also neat.

“New museum, focus on the Coast Guard and river pilots”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012

The museum focuses on the issues in getting ships safely past the bar of the Columbia River. There is also good historical content. Allow at least 2 hours.
