On three occasions we have visited the Schooner/12th Street Bistro and have enjoyed every visit. We particularly favor the eatery before going to an event at the almost adjacent Liberty Theater as everyday from 4 to 6 pm the Schooner features small plates at half price with purchase of a drink. I have tried and recommend the ahi tuna, crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, friends have enjoyed the pan fried oysters. I have paired 2 small plates with the Thai salad or fish and chips and found it to be a full meal. A full menu is available. The wine list is small but balanced we enjoyed a Washington Merlot but do not recall the winery. The staff has been friendly and helpful; I would go to the Schooner at any time however if you are going to the Liberty the Schooner is on 12th on the same block as the Liberty.
