This LaQuinta is an outdoor laquinta. The staff was friendly and breakfast was limited but satisfying. There were no microwaves or refrigerators. The rooms were a decent size but the bathrooms need upgrades. The beds were really comfortable. The walls were thick so you don't have to worry about hearing your neighbors thru thin walls. The only thing besides the rust in the bathroom is the air conditioner not working properly. The unit would cut on when you turned it to the a/c but cut off within a min or 2. It was a very uncomfortable night without a/c but besides all of that it was a nice experience. The location was right off I-95 and somewhat isolated from the street. If none of this bothers you then I would recommend this to anyone needing an inexpensive place to stay. They also take pets which was a big plus compared to all the other hotels around the area. Another plus is that they take military discounts!

Traveling with a dog, options are limited. We choose La Quinta whenever possible, for consistency and general quality over Comfort Inn, Motel 6, etc. The (king) bed was very comfy, linens fresh and clean. Carpet a bit worn, and bathroom small and old, but ok. No odors in room. Heat/ac not overly noisy. No fridge or micro in room. Standard LQ breakfast - always free - cereal, waffles, muffins, hard boiled eggs. Lobby, breakfast area bright and clean. Hi-def, flat tv in room. Lots of dog potty grassy areas, but would prefer a few stations with pick-up bags. Feral cats on property. Outdoor pool looked good. For the price, around $60, it's a good deal, but I'd probably be disappointed if I paid much more. Lots of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. Tricky to find, so watch carefully for the small road next to hwy.

This is a nice La Ouinta that we found to be very clean and a very good mattress and bedding. The staff was very friendly and professional and the breakfast was a little better than most La Quinta's.
Located just north of Jacksonville, it is a good location when traveling from South Florida to the north, since the next morning you are north of the rush hour traffic. This was the second time we chose this hotel and was not disappointed.

Stayed one night before leaving on a cruise out of Jacksonville.
Great value for a very clean and comfortable room.
Will definitely stay there again.
Gave great directions and recommendations to local restaurants.
