“do not go there for a Italian meal!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed January 20, 2013

The mussels were not in a wine or white. Sauce they were in some kinds of salty juice and like. Rubber. The shrimp scalping had 6 shrimp (6) no sauce no flavor just white pasts. The eggplant. Was cold sauce came from a jar was cold and mushy. I had my dinner taken back and orders a pizza
The piazza was good only cause. Of it was not the cook. Used to be a good place. No more piazza still good food is terrible.

“Would not return”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2012

Had dinner on a Sunday night with four of us attending. Upon entering I realized the decor has not changed in the last twenty years. The atmosphere was old and outdated. We were seated in a booth and the cushions were worn out and you could feel the springs.

We were given the menus and asked for a drink order. We ordered some drinks and looked at the menu. I was laughing, because the menu was so old it barely stayed together at the seams. Drinks arrived, I had a rum and coke and others had beers. The coke was flat and the drink was not very tasteful.

We ordered our meals and received our salads in a fair amount of time. Dressing are in plastic cups that I'm sure were taken out of a bottle or generic jug, not homemade. Bread was supplied which was toasted and had melted butter and garlic on top.

The meals came out after a longer wait than anticipated since the restaurant was not very crowded. We determined that there was only one waiter on station that night and was somewhat disjointed in his delivery.

The food was average but not above that. Serving portions are adequate. Service became slower and then non-existent. We asked for boxes for our food and that took about ten minutes. We than tried to get our check and finally I had to go to the owner at the front desk
and ask. The owner did not seem that interested and offered no assistance to his one server.

Overall, the food is average, the service was poor and the atmosphere was old and outdated. I would not visit this restaurant again.

A recent discovery. Wonderful food & atmosphere. Fresh. (better than Olive Garden). Off the beaten path but well worth it.
