I'm so glad we decided to go here. I had THE BEST meal ever; Filet cooked perfectly, topped w/ boursin and hazelnuts with an onion reduction. It was sooooooooooooooooo good! Yes, it is crowded, noisy and fast paced but it's so worth it. Desserts are crazy good,too. We will be back.

This is by far my favorite restaurant in Jacksonville. My husband and I eat all of our "special occasion" meals here. The white bean fondue appetizer is excellent- we get it every time we dine here!

After our previous visit to BB's, I was somewhat hesitant in going back. However, after attending the last Art Festival in nearby San Marco, we decided to try lunch. This time, the service was up to the standards that I expected and the food was simply superb. I had a marinated chicken breast on a Foccacia roll and my wife had a Mahi BLT. We both had the Caesar salad and we were very satisfied with our choices.

So now the count is twice for lunch with success and once for dinner a failure. We will try the evening meal again in the near future to see if our one bad experience was a fluke or if we should just stick to Saturday lunch. Based on this visit along with the first time lunch visit, I will definitely recommend BB's for lunch. The jury is still out on evening dinning.

We have spent the past 5 years in Florida, during which time we have travelled to many different parts of the USA and eaten in every type of restaurant, from the very cheap to the very expensive. BB's is without a doubt one of the very best that we have experienced. The atmosphere is warm and friendly from the charming and knowledgeable staff behind the bar. to the owner himself. The food is interesting without being pretentious in any way. The prices could be higher without any complaints from the many customers, so congratulation to the owner/s for keeping them more than reasonable. My husband and I have vastly differing tastes in food and to be able to please both of us is almost unheard of; a feat achieved by this lovely place.
Please, I implore you, if you are anywhere near Jacksonville, visit this restaurant and try their interesting, tasty and delicious food.
