When you go to this restaurant, be ready for real flavor treats! Each item on the menu that I have had (about five lunches and one dinner), has blown me away with the combinations of flavors. This chef really knows how to put together great flavors and textures. The menu is not a large one and it changes often which is really nice for people like me who choose to go here often. It is also nice, because you don't have to spend so long trying to decide what to order. If the orrechiette pasta with grilled chicken, smokey bacon, roasted butternut squash, baby spinach, herbed ricotta, and crispy sage is offered for dinner - please order it. YUMMY! Lunch salads to look for: Warm Goat Cheese Salad with baby field greens, candied walnuts, prosciutto ham, dates, goat cheese croutons and warm orange blossom honey ---Grilled Salmon Salad with dried fruit and nut couscous, field greens and pumpkinseed pesto.
Appetizers to look for: Crispy Crab Cakes with napa cabbage-peanut slaw and roasted tomato remoulade. The wonderfully creative lunch sandwiches are served with your choice of Caesar, field greens or couscous salad. The parmesan herb fries are to die for.
Do your self a favor and come when you are hungry so that you can try the desserts. The case is filled with over a dozen selections of just made cakes, pies, brownies, bread pudding, and creme brulee. If you've filled up with your meal, take a dessert with you - you won't be sorry.
