“Excellent small museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 9, 2014

We really enjoyed this museum. The permanent galleries have lots of good descriptions and the temporary exhibits were very interesting. Make sure to visit the interactive area first if traveling with children.

“Beautiful Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2014

Please visit if you have a choice of only one museum in Jacksonville, I would say that could be a tough choice. This should definitely be in the top two considerations due to it's indoor/outdoor experience and constantly rotating shows.

“a real gem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

A must visit. You start the experience by going into the living room, and then visit the rest of the museum. The gardens with the massive tree that fills the property is awesome. Be sure to have lunch at the cafe.

“Beautiful little museum and great gardens”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 21, 2014

While in an urban setting, this museum has wonderful gardens that face the river. In addition, the permanent exhibits are of top caliber and the periodic ones are well-considered. The little cafe has nice and reasonably priced food from a limited menu. Nice rest rooms available. Friendly staff glad to be helpful. Special outreach to kids.
