For the second time in the past 6 months the family visited Anatolia for dinner. And, for the second time, we were not disappointed. While I felt a bit underdressed because the atmosphere is very nice, we were graciously seated without any issue. Our server was acutely attentive without being overbearing and the food, again, was outstanding. A full bar with several specialty cocktails is always a nice feature and Anatolia does fall down here either. On the previous visit, live piano music was played. This time, Turkish music played in the background. Either way, it was relaxing. For a Saturday night, I don’t understand why more people aren’t enjoying the really good food here.
We were offered fresh, warm, soft, very “yummy” bread with dipping sauce to start. The Feta / Spinach Borek in phyllo wrappers as an appetizer were great. I thoroughly enjoyed the Gyro platter for my meal albeit next time I won’t get the French fries…I’m certain the jasmine rice is better, and the Lemon Chicken was extremely good as well. Portions are large so go hungry. No matter what, you should definitely go if you like Turkish and/or Mediterranean food.
