First the positive: the service was great, the restaurant is nicely decorated.
They are super slow, so come with time. Then came the food. The French onion soup was good, a little oily for me but decent. I ordered the chicken breast with balsamic reduction it was drenched in soy sauce. Maybe the chef got confused?? Because they insisted it was balsamic. Balsamic is a sweet tangy flavor, reduction has a thicker consistency. This was liquid, drenched into the chicken, and super salty. The vegetables were so undercooked you couldn't possibly chew the skin or seeds on the squash. It came with a side salad of mozzarella and grape tomatoes that tasted rancid and old, it looked old too. The tomatoe tasted like it was cut 2-3 days ago.
They took the plate off my bill, and said this never happens to ten, but I heard them apologizing to another table, so maybe it's not so rare. This is my second visit, the first it was a long wait for the food, and the Quische was not stellar, but it wasn't nearly as bad as this time.
