The afternoon/evening staff was friendly, but this place was unacceptable. Besides not serving any breakfast, the safe in the room was broken, and one of the two mornings I was there, there was absolutely no hot water whatsoever. The door handle to the room was also loose (although not broken), and the door jiggled back and forth even when it was closed, letting in noise, light, and air -- I had to prop a chair against it a night to keep it completely closed.

The worst part about the room, however, was the bugs. There were bugs in the bathroom on the floor and in the tub. There were also numerous bugs crawling around the sink. I even saw a bug one of the beds. It was absolutely disgusting. I'll never stay at a Red Roof Inn again.

Always clean and quiet. I had not stayed here in a few months . I found out Mr. Fazli has left. I wish him well. He was a very nice and helpful man. A loss for Red Roof. Also it is under new management. Room and service was fine. Have yet to have any problems here.

I originally thought it would be neat to stay at a Red Roof inn located in the Orange park, Florida area (Jacksonville). I was able to secure the room for $31.99 a night + taxes. When I arrived i was harassed about my corporate id. The next day the property manager asked me for additional information and so forth. I then rented the next night and then this is where the fun started. One of the redroof employees over the phone accidentally gave me a good corporate id (VP+) for a company by the name of Barnhill contracting. When I told the manager this he put up a fight saying i am committing fraud etc. He also informed me he would tell everyone at Redroof about this incident and my name would be spread across the company. When i left the manager did say i can use another one if it was legit. Well behind dumb and needing a place i went back to this establishment low and behold "ANNA" one of the other ladies who always checked me in started to inform the other associate how she needs to check for ID etc. I advised Anna that i was allowed using this corporate id number (Left blank#) and she was saying how I am committing fraud etc. I told ANNA at this time i wanted a refund and I would just go across the street to the Motel 6.... WELL ANNA said that she wouldn't issue a Refund and if I complained she would contact the police and file fraudulent charges against me..Well finally I got the original lady to issue me a refund. On the way out Anna once again opened her fat mouth and said she would be "FORWARDING ALL INFORMATION TO THE MANAGER:.... REALLY?

I proceeded to leave and got a paper signed indicating i would get a refund (by another clerk of course),,,,

I received an automated responds saying sorry about what occured and steps would be taken accordingly.. OH REALLY? NO PHONE CALL or anything apologizing.

I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL ESTABLISHMENT TO ANYONE ANYWHERE AT ANYTIME. THE POLICE DID SHOW UP AT THIS PROPERTY WHEN I LEFT FOR ANOTHER ISSUE.....

The Hotel management SUCKS; Rude employees and of course its not a nice place to stay.

My husband and I was passing through from Virginia on are way to Orlando and was tired so we stop at this Red Roof Inn. Upon our arrival Anna the front desk clerk greeted us with a smile checked us in rapidly, and was very helpful with providing us information on the surrounding areas with the best food. The house keeper which I believe named was Tammy was also very helpful with providing me with how to operate the TV. The room are very clean and comfortable. Thanks Anna and Tammy for making my husband and I feel welcome. We definitely will stay at this Red Roof Inn again! :)

Was able to book a room about 20 minutes before arrival when it became apparent I would need a hotel room. Hotel staff did a wonderful job accommodating my special requests at no extra charge.

Rooms were clean and quite well provisioned. Staff was helpful and courteous on both check in and check out. Would definitely turn here first if looking to stay in the area again.

We booked a room at this Red Roof through their website. We are Red Card members and have used quite a few Red Roofs. They have been renovating their hotels and have found them to be clean and comfortable. We expected the same from this one in Jacksonville. It was dirty and the carpet was filthy and not renovated. The next morning my pajamas smelled like smoke from the mattress and I had a horrible headache from sleeping on the smoky mattress. We could not wait to leave the place. When I replied to a survey from Red Roof, I was offered a discount if I would return to this hotel. Never! not at any discount. It needs to be cleaned and have new bedding installed.

Room Tip: I do not think they have a good room.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for a very short weekend. It was last minute and we probably won't be staying here again. The rooms were okay, nothing fancy. We had to change our room twice because the first room didn't have a mini fridge so we upgraded, then that rooms air conditioner didn't work and made an awful noise. So we finally settled in the third room. I believe all the rooms still had a scent of cigarettes. Once we were settled, it was fine. An average room at an average place. No roaches!:) No elevator:( oh and they are very strict at check out times. Call us picky but hey we want to be comfortable and smell nice, not our clothes end up smelling like cigarettes!
Last minute cheap short stay.
